Wouldn't be keen to repeat. Not much pro apart from 3 bolts. 2 pockets for a #0.5 above the first bolt and a #1 well above the third bolt - after an exciting move or two. Couldn't find anything else
A cool iron stone flake feature running up the arete. A couple of crux crimps turn into nice little sequence and then the route backs off into an enjoyable Mountains arete.
Fantastic, thoughtful climbing. Surprisingly good holds inside the crack, fairly goodfeet mostly of the way. Interesting and spicy pull onto the main wall to get into the crack, feels a bit bouldery. Was very pleased to follow this clean and feel quite smooth and confident while doing it.
Don't underestimate this lead. Stuff that looks like jugs from below are actually quite slopey. The crack is small and mostly filled with ferns. There's pro, but almost never where you want it to be. Bring nuts and mostly small cams, but a couple of 3s (blue) come in handy. Goodfun.
Awesome climb. Reminds me of Arapiles with the abundance of pro, and the ability to face climb the whole way if you wanted to. Fun bouldery start protected by bolts, some stemming moves, airy traverse and a funmantle to finish.
Had to do some downclimbing, and did the traverse in reverse, in order to clean the gear I placed in the corner.
I'm pretty uncalibrated at the moment though it feels like grade 13 belies some thoughtful moves. The crack offers plenty of protection for a full rack (#4 would have been nice!).
Great little route but with some fairly substantial reaches if you are as short as me, I definitely needed to utilise some slab trickery to make up for the fact that I couldn't reach any of the holds. Probably not really that hard at the grade in the style but a few of the edges did feel pretty small in the afternoon sun.
Superfun climb! Can be a bit nerve racking in some spots whilst leading! It has a pretty easy but gnarly traverse at the start then a heaps fun step across the void moment 5m from the top of the pitch. Will definitely be doing this one again
Immediately after rain, and during passing showers. Not too hard for a 23 slab, but sustained and awesomely varied moves. Bring a few cams for the start.
