Low finger skin day, surprised so little had grown back since Thursday night! Managed to get into the second move of Left of Ferns a couple times from the start. This climb is probably at the limit of my power endurance. So much time under tension! Think I've optimised the beta but only time will tell. Leaving it until after Townsville.

Had a bard (Alex) sitting up above the 12 playing guitar. Cool outing with good company!

Was out of action for 6 weeks, but linking the business bar 1 move after the breadloaf match was a real eye opener from the last time I tried it. The psyche is back for climbin’ bb!

Sick line, good progress on first session.

Far more enjoyable than I'd given it credit for earlier. I'm excited to find out what Left of Ferns feels like (pump-wise) when doing the whole traverse.

Couldn't make the crux move without resting on the rope. 😕

Feeling pretty confident for when everything line's up perfectly. Need to be more consistent if I want to actually do it. Mental more than physical at this point. I feel like I've 'learned' how to fall on the crux because I've done it so much

Session 4 TR solo. Clean run from the ground to the seam after the bulge. Totally pumped, will be hard to get through that slab!

Wages demanded blood tribute today, I'm missing a lot of skin which started separating while in the first finger lock after the first bolt... Good prompt to try a left hand side pull move up which also works well and doesn't demand skin.

Long day. Started climbing 7:30am, left at 1:30pm. Paced myself and managed to put a lot of practise time into the individual moves. Slipped off going to lip on best attempt.

Gave it a couple attempts. Felt really good on the crux move hitting it but not holding it. Tried the top as well.

Flopped a good bunch of moves to just below the crux, will definitely go with more trips and good temps on the way :}

First time back since October, forgot how sharp those ratty crimps were. Crux completed, time to put it all together.

Great to pull onto, but requires work. Awesome soggy-footed sesh.
