Managed to do both cruxes today. Stocked! Time to start linking

First time pulling on rubber lover since being able to actually work 25’s, all moves felt really solid but weather today was terrible and the rain and thick fog were making the slot wetter and slipperier each burn. So confident should only take a lap or two in better conditions to put away. Real nice takeaway that the crimps below the anchor the first time I ever pulled on I couldn’t hold them for the life of me, now they feel pretty good!

Tried the moves, got most except the hardest (getting heel up) and then couldn't do the 26 😂 time to work on razor sharp crimps.

What a little gem this was. Wasn't looking at doing it, but got it recommended by other climbers. With some good beta from Peter (Trang and Josh's mate), I almost flashed it — beta was clip 3rd, drop down a bit and traverse left on some side pulls (right hand) and gastones (left hand), then up in the corner. That all went first go, but then I messed up the roof move. Sent it second go though, and had pump in the end to keep climbing and try the start of the extension, but obviously didn't get far on that...

Pretty solid when you know the moves. Crux definitely after the first bolt. Couldn’t get the knee bar working this time but didn’t need it anyway.

Fell between bolt one and two. Went to a slopey no good hold. Finding the better holds made it better but still a little cruxy. Also hung before the roof as the line to the right had a climber get unsettling close. Pretty solid line and fun through the roof. Found a decent kneebar above the roof too. Next burn.

Almost my first flash at the grade. Shame I was doing it at the end of the trip and my fingers were shredded. Hung at the first draw as my fingers were screaming.

Pulled back on and clean to the top. Felt like a pretty engaged slab traverse which had me going but cruisey jugs at the top. Will have to come back for this.

All the moves went down quick, feels very "on" for a while. Maybe next session

Would like to get better at climbing things first shot whether it be flash/onsight or just first burn after not being on it, felt like a non event after re-doing all the moves (static through first crux though which Tom doesn't accept)

Couldn’t get past the Boulder problem. Have up since it was shredding the skinn

Just got way too cooked at the start and had low energy for the other attempts

Short session after work, banned from even looking right at the top supposedly, left is the OG.

1. Beta lap, been a while, skipped the start, no falls.

2. First red point, fell after the second crux, out of steam.

3. Fell second crux on last move, didn’t go far enough with left hand.

4. Probably a bit rushed, not that much rest, fell after the crux AGAIN! Hit the jug by the last clip with only 3 fingers and 1 pad.

It’ll go next time!!
