Traversing with pump and tip toe took me out on lead attempt. Quite a challenge on traverse seconding too, 🥹 absolute troll of jugfest until next pitch.

Bloody brilliant day out. Managed to be very efficient finding our way in and up the first five pitches before 11 am. Proudly onsighted the opening boulder problem only to snap off a thumb press while resting above, take a nice whipper, and have to do it all again. All the higher-graded pitches were great value. Made the mistake of climbing up to the roof for the traverse, which complicated clipping the middle bolt. Actual crux for me was the last two bolts of P7. After all the endless jug hauling and making it this far up, suddenly it turns to shitty slopers. Took the mother of all whippers trying to clip and sailed a long way back down. Definitely made harder by doing it in full, sweaty sun by that point and also running out of quick draws on the front loops of my harness. Anyway, despite all the fearmongering and growing levels of worry after reading about other people's epics, we had a blast! Thoroughly enjoyed the reading material in the emergency bin too - may all of Mel's dreams come true.

My first sport multipitch - what a fun start! Rested on gear to correctly extend a draw.

2 18 20 Sport lead by Andrew Harward

Enjoyed the crack climbing in the first section albeit some soggy parts. Struggled to get off the ledge without barn dooring!

3 18 40 Sport lead by Tracey Leonard

Excellent pitch! Some scary slabbing at the top of the nose and around the corner, hands dissapear so I nearly fell! Finally found something semi decent - fun!

4 8 30 Sport lead by Andrew Harward, Tracey Leonard

Simul climbed to save time! A bit nerve racking which made the scramble even cooler

5 8 40 Sport lead by Andrew Harward, Tracey Leonard

Simul climbed this one too.

6 18 40 Sport lead by Tracey Leonard

Loved the traverse, plenty of feet with some cool balancy moves. Nervy going around the corner but so fun! Forgot to extend so lots of drag on the slab, great holds though.

7 18 40 Sport lead by Andrew Harward

Epic slabbing! So pumped by the end but loved every minute! Take good rests

Fantastic adventure! Tried leading on two ropes and mismanaged drag through the cave and felt like I was pulling up 40kg on the head wall.

Got some really bad rope drag on P6 so had to take a couple of rests, pulling the rope up was pumping me out.

This sport bunny needs to work on his endurance. 40m pitches at the end of the day leading with a backpack was tough work. Hung on the rope on the last bolt of P6, and pulled on a draw where the jugs run out near the top of P7.

The headwall of P6 and P7 is amazing! Awesome climb, very accessible at the grade.

My first 9 pitch multi-pitch, I think I only seconded the first, third, the two 8 pitches and the last 13 clean. Fell off the traverse twice, learnt how to use prussiks but had the best time. Will do it again when I have two shoulders I can use

Fantastic climb! Clean until 4 metres from the end of the second last pitch, I'm so soft. Anyway pitch 3 was the pick for me, the headwall was just amazing.

Went with a friend who did most of the leading. Don't be fooled by the 18 grade. Some parts are tricky bouldering moves in fairly exposed areas. Take some energy gels for the last few pitches! They are definitely the best. Some crappy undergrowth on some of the middle, lesser graded pitches, you have to scramble a bit to find the anchors since the fires.
