BIG cams or hexes needed to protect the traverse. Lay back crack too big for any of my gear so placed pro in utju kutju

Really fun climb. Started as per utju kutju but stepped left immediately and climbed the bottom slab directly rather than following the diagonal. A nice looking mantle from the overhung start awaits to unlock this as a fully fledged variant but we ran out of time. Undercling traverse is fun with solid hands and smeary feet. The giant block feels solid despite questionable rock on other parts of the crag. Stayed out of utju kutju to finish tidily up the layback moves
