Ascents as various tick types by Thomas Gissing

As a stand start, I don't think it's V4, but I couldn't say what it is with any kind of accuracy.

Happy with this. Haven't onsighted anything for quite a while, and I think this is the hardest I've done. The start was funky to sequence, then its just keep it together till the chains.

The rock is a bit crapola, but this and the 24 are both worthy routes imo.

Thought this was the 19 - a very stiff warm up. Just squeaked it.

Not good with bouldering grades, but it felt easy for V3.

Bit of a tricky one on the onsight with the excessive amount of features and the run out finish. Moves are very straightforward once you find the holds though.

Back log. Was very happy with this onsight - I remember there being a fantastic crux move on a flake.

Warm up.

Draw retrieval mission. Fun jug haul.

Some thin crimpage, a bit of a dodgey second clip. Otherwise OK.

Had an epic. Spent what felt like 2 minutes beached whaled on the top as Alex through up a chalk bag. Finally squirmed up with absolutely no style.

Same difficulty as the other stuff imo. Not quite as nice.

Interesting movement on some strange holds and very thin feet.

Linked into this from stand-start at the arete.

Way too short, but sick move to pull up to, and over, the roof. Found a knee bar that worked sweet. As earlier comment, needs another bolt lower down to be safe.

Brilliant, technical, flowing climb

Slipppppery. Cool mantle over the ledge.

The hard move is cool.

Thought this was Fish. The mantle move is tricky, but I don't think it's 20 - at least not the way I did it. Maybe the arete is. I went right and finished up chimney. Bomber gear first half, no protection in second half and ground fall is possible/probable if you came off the slabby arete.

What a route! Crux comes up outta nowhere and throws a spanner in the works.

Balancy climb. Thought I was going to take a fall then stuck the crux just as I was thinking about wimping out.

Really liked it. The flake hold at the top looks like it might come off at any point. Made things interesting.

Razor crimp down low and some awesome chunky side pulls at the top. Sweeet

Just incredible. Breath taking exposure, brown pants traverses, beautiful sequences. Loved watching Will psyching up to dead point throw above a bolt facing a whip into the void.

Awesome. Thin and technical, but the crimps that are available have a great edge. Used the arete low down.

For me, deserves a star given the rest of the crag.

Awesome route on good holds. Slab was fun. No dramas until a bit of a "Where the f*** is the jug?!" at the chain.

Really enjoyed this. The climbing is easy but felt solid and just enjoyed the view.

This was a pain. Weird traversing and had insane rope drag. Couldn't communicate with belayer. Pretty unpleasant, but not overly difficult.

Nice balancy stuff again. Found this to be very similar to the climb to the left, with a slightly easier crux move.

Sharp crimps and bolt plates made the time spent clipping a bit uncomfortable, but enjoyed the moves.

Nice sequence to gain ledge. Fairly sustained and nice for the grade. Game over after that.

Similar sequences to Worm Hole, but longer and steeper throughout. Nice climb.

Absolutely loved this. Amazing rock, cool moves.

Tricky move off the ground then it's barely harder than the 14 next to it.

One of the best easy slab routes I've done in the glassies. Tricky move at the top if you're short. Nice climb.

Good stuff. Fairly straightforward until it's time to climb out from the mini cave. Ran out of appropriately sized cams, so threw in some upper cut style fist jams and ran it out. Nice climb.

Really epic. My best moment so far in climbing. Particular highlights were cruising through the middle jamming section, and watching a yellow wire fall out as I pulled into the top crux layback, contemplating a huge whip.

Great, crimpy, technical climbing. Adequate gear up high. Lu couldn't touch the moves on this so it might be 19 I think.

Great moves through the bulge. First cut loose on trad. Would be brilliant if a touch more sustained and the ledge wasn't there.

Enjoyed it, bit of a one move wonder though, and maybe a soft move for 18. It's a bit tricky to stay to the 'hard' line on some of these routes.

Another boulder problem into easy ground, but really fun.

First climb of the day after a sweaty walk in.

Great route, perfect warm up.

The pick of the bunch for me. Very interesting looking rock and classy arete climbing. Absolutely worth the few minutes it takes to walk to the end of the wall.

Not a fan. Slippery, wierd line. Got pumped out of my brain considering the length.

Pretty good. Again, pretty pumpy for the length. Worth doing.
