Very hard start for the grade. Had to bail as the tide was coming in. Reattempted it later in the day and good it no probs.

Found direct start very difficult. So I walked up the side to clip the first bolt. Later found out the offical climb avoids the direct start. Rested near end.

My book calls it 'Schlingel Moritz'. Finished it on the first day, after Warren bailed. Did it all on 11 Nov.

Led it, thought it was easy, until I discovered that I'd done a link up with the climb to the left, that avoided the crux. Did the proper climb and needed 2 rests.

Took 2 rests due to the mental game

Like climbing a fridge. I had to do 2 snatches. It has 2 bolts which are right next to natural pro.

Needed 3 goes to do the bulge at half height. Mostly mental I think.

Warren led. Fun 2nd half.

Susy led. Very short sport climb involving lots of abs. Will do it clean next time.

Dogged it first go. Then did it clean once I knew the moves. Sustained.

Really only 1 interesting move. Well bolted.

Still can't get it, now I've just got the reach for the vertical slot to perfect. Done it many times before with falls. But did it with only 2 falls first go on this night. Couldn't improve on that with subsequent attempts. Very pumpy.

Just made it. Slight chance of minor rope assist, so I'll have to go back to do it super-clean. 3/8/04 Still dogged it, but 3 times now. 27/07/04: Got up twice, dogging it both times. A good workout.

Couldn't get passed the high reach gaston.

Nice moves, but not easy in the humidity.

Could not get the large horizontal crack hold

TR. Worked out a 'short person's method' for the dyno. Got both hands onto the ledge, but couldn't stick it. Getting there. (Warren cleaned it!) 27/6/04: Toprope. Couldn't stick the dyno.

Figured it out, after a rest. 3/8/04:Top rope. Very balancy. No idea how to complete it.

Finally got it! Still with a bit of difficulty. 8/2/05: Fell twice at crux, got ropeburn on back of knee.

Top rope. Couldn't even do the first move of the crux section.

20/7/04 Cleaned it. 9/6/04: Took 2 rests. Next time...

Got up by going off-route. Couldn't clean it on-route.
