Ascents by Ben Jenga having Distinct route

May be classic when it's clean but after lots of rain it becomes a horrible dirt filled gully. Still a good adventure.

Yep, should have taken a few more big cams. A shuffle here and a runout there and I was up to the RP ledge. Not that hard for the grade and lots of fun.

I am pretty sure I have done this before, still felt tricky.

Great route, I will climb it again no doubt. Keeps you working the whole way with plenty of funky movement.

First and third with Mitch. Super rock and a great position on one of the best walls. Loved it. I thought the second pitch was harder than the third.

This route should be way more popular, super gripping in the mega gale that was todays weather. Really sequencey moves on the arete.

That crux really makes you work hard. Lots of bomber gear and the run-out start isn't to bad with a side runner.

Run in run out ascent. We were in a rush (to get food) so a speedy lap was had. Pretty easy but the wide spot was a bit thrutchy, climbed via the direct finish. Good fun but a little dirty and sandy, maybe the first lap this season.

Good long mixed crack climbing wall with a couple of tricky and wide spots. Easy climbing but strange gear that can be odd to place. Took longer to climb then it should have.. Good fun

Super easy climbing but blowing any of the moves about half way would not be pleasant. Really nice wall climb with committing moves on good holds.

Good E1 route with some ok gear that I wouldn't have wanted to test. The climbing is good but it was a little warm in the sun.

This is a must do for sure!!! Splitter finger crack climbing a long but slabby pin scar crack. Sections of the crack are just two finger vertical pockets stacked on top of on another. Stella

Tried putting the gear up for Dana but decide that if would freak her out and suggested she second Paul. Fun steep corner climbing with a hard mantel at the start and some powerful moves up higher. Steeper then it looks.

So fun, the peaks answer to kachoong. Grit roof flakes of swinging goodness.

Sure E2 second climb on grit that's a great idea... Committing arête climb with just enough gear to make it same but not enough to make it safe. Hardest part was battling the wind.

It's got gear so no stress. Fun thin wall then crack.

After Paul made the start look really hard I was a little worried but the climb was fine. By the look of things not a good warm up

A quick warm up lap before getting on the fang. Not much decent gear in the middle but easy climbing, first pitch only to the tree.

Only did the first pitch. Really good climbing and a bit stiff at the crux. Great single pitch trad line

Yep the name says it all, wide cracks for real men (that's why I used the face holds). Free booty wire, the second number 4 wild country booty wire of the trip.

Not as hard as it looks, and much more fun. Plenty of rests and stances but some hard locking inbetween. Lead on Paul's gear.

Flashed on Paul's gear. A bit of a one move wonder but a bit of fun. The wind made the top half a bit tricky.

Pretty good and not to hard, short tricky move in the middle but no real dramas. Great jugs up top Flashed on Paul's gear.

A classic of the area which starts by traversing along a old water pipe then across and up a slab to a massive chain and up a slanted V groove crack. Pretty soft but a good one. This quarry has to be see to be believed....

Past tick The fingers section was great but the sand above, not so good

Only did the last pitch to escape the ledge. Good wall climbing with some mega runouts but the climbing is easy.

Repeat. Quick top rope because the boys forgot the trad gear. Really nice, I wish it went to the top of the cliff.

Repeat. Classic climb and one of the windjammer must do's Not as hard as it looks and the offwidth is easy.

Mmm high ground fall factor from the crux, now were talking grit.. Seconding Paul on this very point perp-isk traverse.

I seconded Paul on this long varied classic. It was his must do climb and it was a lot of fun with a mix of most climbing styles. Climbed via the direct crack start.

Repeat. Rope roping is way easier then leading!!
