Ascents by Rob Medlicott having Trad CPR

Flashed on Lloyd's gear. Both of these routes are really good! Came here to do Kachoong but being tired after doing this and running out of time, i decided to leave it for next time.

Felt pretty hard for 20, but i guess it's on par for this area. Great climbing. Flashed on pre-placed gear.

This thing was awesome! I was pretty gripped at a couple of spots but managed to get there!

Almost went the wrong way at the lip and put my hand in a bucket of water but i got there in the end

Jumped straight on this after Ritalin but it also felt 22, although probably easier than the other one. Can't think of much better than this at the grade, stellar!

Had a play on the crux. Leg wasn’t super happy.

Felt pretty hard but made harder by the fact that i slipped over on wet rock before trying it and hurting my bad knee pretty badly...

Great climbing but loose rock lets it down. Looked tough on lead too. An epic way to finish the trip. Paul almost had a heart attack....

Great fun but too short. Would make a great high ball boulder at about V2

The climb of the trip for sure! Great climbing in an waesome position, high on the arete! Not sure i can reach anything good enough at the high crux but flashed to there. FUN!

Rapped in, placed gear, broke a hold at the start, sun came over, dogged up and bailed

Just awesome! This route has been on my ticklist since i started climbing. As an old friend soloed it years before i started climbing and my sister showed me the video from down on the road. Would take some huge nuts to solo this thing! (Especially with all the wetness up there from the last couple days rain)

Heaps fun route on a great wall, fell off the second last move (slippery, wet holds). It was a pity about the layer of spooge on the rock today, would've made things a little better but still an awesome day!

It was pretty fun until the stupid fist jamming finale. I hate cracks

First pitch only. Lowered off the anchor here. What an amazing pitch at the grade. Brilliant features and quite steep and exposed near the top. Rad! Would solo it next time for sure but this time i put a couple of cams in just in case...😜

Best climb so far, at frog. So fun, bit of jambing practice.

Done this 3 times now without any protection at the bottom each time, makes it more exciting.

Fun warm up to gain the Pendulus ledge

Yep, this was the perect way to finish up ourfirst PP trip. Followed Matt up this and it was the standout pitch of the day (relative to its grade, although i think its a sandbag). Great climbing up a really nice face, in great position. Couple of finger locks, handjams, laybacks and some funky pockets to finish. The cool change had arrived and the wind almost pushed me onto the ledge at the top

Tricky at the start, that is if you're worried about climbing off route. Bolts are very close together on these routes. Didn't like it, bailed

First lead ascent at frog, i seconded it last winter on my first time at frog.

Another great low grade route. If we spent as much time climbing as dodging rain, we might get our gear back off Resignation.

How does this route only have 2 stars? It was amazing! I dunno if it’s because we soloed it but the exposure on pitch 2 up the two blades was just awesome!

Thought it was a 13 when i decided to solo it. Maybe that put me in the right mindset to have no fear. The crack was pretty cool but very easy after that.

I lead this but wandered a little to find pro so may not have been on route the whole time??

If only it was longer, I’d have said it’s classic. So steep at the grade. Great fun to solo.

Awesome fun! The downclimb off the back is the hardest part, especially with a bung knee.

OOOOOOPS!!!! Supposed to be on El Scorcho but took the wrong path.... Didn't have a second rope to rap off the last pitch of this but would've been nice to finish it. Next time!
