Awesome traverse, had me freaked out. Took 10hrs car to car, 8hrs climbing. Make sure you have plenty of water I took 3 litres and it was gone by pitch 7. The area is badly burnt out so by the end of the day we where covered in charcoal.

7.5 hours Car to Car, including wasting 30min walking back and forth trying to find the start of the climb. Good, but not as classic as some of the other routes at Pierces Pass. P1, P2, P6 and P7 are worth the trip, the rest is merely average. Led Pitches 2,4,6,8,10 after losing the toss for the crux pitch. 1 rest (on second) on crux of first pitch, all others clean. P1 is sustained 22, or 23 for the Onsight (based on the one trick crux move). The traverse is repetitive, but exciting. POSITION!

Wow, what a route. Hard to get a gauge on difficulty of P1 as seconded with the backpack but dogged the hell out of it and pulled a draw or two. The moves looked and felt more like a 23 to me.

I took even leads and onsited all. Seconded all odds clean. Pitches 2, 6, 7 and 8 were INCREDIBLE. You shouldn't skip the last pitch either...was fun climbing if you ignore the bad rock quality!

First sport multi pitch. So yeah! Fun times; (he says retrospectively, sitting on his couch drinking a Corona) - but need more than 500 characters to even begin to articulate what an epic character building adventure that this was. The climbing was fantastic; thoroughly enjoyable; even the last pitch on mostly wet rock was an excellent finish. The best part of this multi-pitch is that your fatigue gets matched with the gradual easing in grade difficulty while still maintaining its 3 star level

23-24??? Pitch 1 dogged P1 alot, P7, P8 mega mega mega exposure pitches 6/7 pitch 6 - crimpy all the way (pumpathon) beware of rock quaity, i had some rocks break off(feet) on the traverse and on pitch 7 had a hand hold explode as i was going for a big move.

7h climbing time

special thank to Dany for leading all of the tough pitches when I was too pumped/scared to lead. being a boulderer i have no endurance for multi sport of this magnitude.

Great day out with beautiful weather! First pitch is a bit hard on your fingers, but Chris did well to onsight it! I didn't make it clean and pulled some draws (well placed). We were behind a party of 3, and then later another party of 2, so was a pretty chill day, finally starting at 11:30 am and having a 1-2 hour sleep on the midway ledge. Second pitch is some great climbing at grade 20. The traverse pitch felt a lot easier than it looked, with only a few hardish moves. The rock is surprisingly solid, the exposure is epic and the rope drag manageable The final 18 pitch has some giant ironstone plates, waiting to be broken off and the anchors are set back further than you think. We walked out the exit gully as it was getting late.

Possibly takes the title as the best moderate multi pitch sport route in the country! Deservedly popular - think about sneaking out on a weekday - good days on the weekend are guaranteed to be busy. Grading is probably on the hard side, due to 3 hardish moves on the first pitch I'd be inclined to grade it 23!

Awesome day. Dogged first pitch (worked out all moves, didn`t pull on quickdraw) and onsighted all my other leads.

1.pitch - I was lucky to have time and patience of my belayer (thanks Ro) towork out the crux. Took a bit of falliing, but learned one more new move. Surprisingly fell of the slaby last move before the anchor, hand slipped, looong fall with all slag and stretch in those 45 meters of rope, almost ended up with my face in the lip way below.

2.pitch - Some slappy business, didn`t find it terribly easy.

5.pitch - Feels like could have potential but actually is not that great. Chossy and feels fragile.

6.pitch - famous traverse, pretty hairy on second tip toeing above that ledge with 45m of the rope out that has definitely enough slag and stretch ..... Made me contemplate. Espetially after that fall on the pitch one.

9.pitch Scrambled up.

Looked at pitch 10. and decided to go home and have a beer.

Good to finally tick this one although will have to go back to get p1 and p2 clean. The heavy rain from the previous days and all night turned the first 3 pitches into a slippery nightmare, the slight drizzle on p1 didnt help either haha. Pulled on 2 bolts p1 and stepped on a carrot on p2 (seconding on both though, the real props goes to Ryan for leading them). All the rest was clean, the traverse was awesome and super long the last chossy pitch is worth it too. 2x 50m ropes worked fine, no need for anything longer.

What a fantastic day out! Got started around 10am on the actual climb. Patrick the beast onsighted the first pitch. I agree with him that there's good beta that makes it a 22 and not a super difficult pitch. We motored our way through with efficient switches to take advantage of the shade. The sun came around as I smiled on the mega traverse pitch. The next two were just as good but I was worried slightly about my arms cramping with the 5kg back pack on second. Wonderful route

Such an amazing route, with perfect weather for the day too. Highlights were definitely the first pitch and the traverse. Made pretty good time too, besides me fumbling about trying to preserve the onsight on pitch 1. Just got the sun at about 1pm on the traverse, didn't feel the heat till the walk out.

Glorious day out. Planned on doing the link up with RRR but turns out a 4mm tag line is less than ideal for pulling ropes. Next time. Just under 4 hours bottom to the top.

Was at the bottom of the rap in at 7:30, shared ropes with friends on another climb. Made a mess of finding the start until another group showed us the way. We let them go ahead but that gave us a chance to catch our breath after the unnecessary bush bashing. First pitch is hard so if possible bring one bag so the leader has a decent shot, really had to pace myself and manage pump. Found the following pitch a difficult second after this. Some super climbing throughout and the traverse followed by the 20 on the face is excellent. We took about 6.5 hours and brought three litres of water which we found a good amount for us. Sun hit just after traverse pitch at 1ish.

Quite a big day.

Didn’t second everything... Led some pitches.... maybe 3, 9, and 10? But also pulled on some gear while seconding those ridiculous first two pitches... at the end of the day I got to the top and it was the most climbing I’ve ever done in one day.

First time doing the full route.

Tricky first pitch with some very thought provoking moves - was hard with a backpack and not warmed up! Some interesting moves on the second pitch then easier terrain for the rest of the climb.

Absolute classic

First pitch had me trying very hard. A couple of sections beat me, two big whips. Very fun climbing though. Awesome how consistent it was. Pitch 2 has its fair share of spice as well! The juggy headwall was the best climbing of the day, mind boggling jugs. Top pitch is a stark change in style, worthwhile to finish on top of the world! Played 'Hotel Cali' while we topped out, yum! Thanks for being a stinker climbing partner DJ Hemo.

First pitch had me working hard, got into an awkward position with my leg in the gap under the roof let but struggled through it. Was suprised with how spicy the second pitch was, some really cool moves! Stoked to have landed with the traverse pitch and it was easily one of the nicest pitches of climbing I’ve ever done! The head wall was stunning, amazing jugs with an even more amazing view! LOVED IT

They day I became an aid climber. I used up all my sweet send juice trying to free the first pitch for way too long. This left me with nothing for the rest of them. Therefore I aided through almost everything. Led a 17 and an 18 pitch in there somewhere. I cried (literally) at the thought of leading another. Good job my partner is one of those 'hard man test piece' types and got us through. Last pitch was by far the worst. Breaking off holds and funnelwebs in all the pockets....

I should of done BBB instead. Make sure you are strong enough and you will have a great time.

Classic. The first pitch is a hard for a 22 with several difficult moves. Take some alpine draws for the 19 travers pitch to reduce rope drag. Gets sun from about 1-2pm onwards.

Not the 8m overhung Coolum climb I'm used to. The 22 felt like a QLD 24. Climbed pitches 2-10 with our second rope on my back - not something I'd recommend. Pitches 5, 6, 7 and 8 are great. The traverse is epic. Unfortunately, pitches 7 and up were wet. We got rained on during pitch 7 which did not help with the pump I was experiencing. The cave just before the final pitch is home to a very chonky wombat. Awesome route, great day.

The first pitch is pretty sandbagged at 22, I'd say pretty comfortably 23. Struggled a bit with endurance, as it was my first climb outdoors five months, which was, in hindsight, pretty optimistic

On the bright side everything else felt much softer at the grade than that first pitch, though the 19 traverse pitch was gripping.

I ended up leading most of the harder pitches because Alex got ruined by the first pitch. We were both shattered when we got back to the car All in all, and awesome day out.
