Really good!! Don't love having to traverse a bit at the top, but such a nice mixed route. Oh, yeah, by the way, you should definitely take some gear up in my opinion, this is more of a mixed route... Maybe I'm just not solid!

Contender for the best 19 I have ever got on. Technical mesh of slab and flake climbing requiring a bit of doodling to the left and right.

Will probably still call it a 'mixed' route unless people are willing to finger lock with commitment 2m off the ground without pro. Two medium/large wires is all that the route requires as sacrifice for the holy ground above.

Simply sensational. I enjoyed every second of this onsight; it's certainly become one of my favourite easy routes in the mountains. Movement was interesting, with the route following a nice wandering line of features up the wall. The final few meters round the small bulge and up to the ledge felt fantastic. Carrots are nicely spaced, helping to create a good sense of exposure while climbing, but it didn't ever feel dangerous to me (the first carrot is about 10m up, with seven in total, so the spacing is around 3.5m). The carrots themselves are a mix of broad-heads and "normal" ones; of the seven carrots, my bolt plates fit four, so I had to use wires on the other three. I found it very easy for 19, but the finish definitely has the ability to bring heartbreak to would-be ascensionists, so it deserves some respect.

Doesn't look like much from the ground, but an amazing climb for the grade. Varied moves and holds the whole way.

Forgetting that I shouldn't take wire draws on a carrot-bolted route made for interesting hanging around rearranging my draws.

First climb of the day, I struggled a bit on the thin slab sections, esp. where the route split right. The hollow-sounding flake wasn't awe-inspiring either.

Used Walnuts #4 and #6 for the bottom.

Skipped the trad gear at the bottom. Some of the upper carrots were slightly thicker and the 45 degree bolt plates didn't fit, 90 degree plates did. Make sure you have a few varieties of bolt plates available if possible.
