I have forgot how good Mt Boyce is!! This climb has been on my list for a while and after Andy cleaned, chalked and removed a few holds I had the pleasure of crushing through the low dyno crux. The rest of the route is only about 22 but climbs super featured orange rock in a great position. Aweome.

Blew the onsight by trying to follow the guidebook crimp-dyno beta. A big rockover-reach did the trick on the second attempt, but only just. Lots of fun climbing before and after the hard bit.

Super cool route and very worthwhile. 3 distinct hard sections down low then cruisy scoopiness above. Hardish move off ground that is ok with the right feet, then the rooflet took some figuring out, then tough R crimp off the sloper match above. Came in above, put the draws in and worked on gri-gri then sent next go.

Had a play. Hard start indeed. Even past the rooflet there's a really hard move, couldn't get to next bolt.

A classic Boyce gem and a line that should be on any crack climbers list. Traverse off the ledge and out over the void onto the line. Great gear, sustained hand jambs and plenty of jugs, plus its soft so what more to ask for..

If this was at Piddo it would easily have a million ascents. As good, or better, than any of the classic cracks there.

Led clean on Jonas's gear. A very nice trad line, but less classic than thruxton, and soft for 21. Double ropes were helpful. Some gardening may be required.

Awesome. The line just begs to be climbed. Possibly a little soft for the grade but still features a few decent moves. Gear is great the whole way and the climbing is super stylish. Loved it

Fantastic climbing, up a brilliant line. Some quite hard moves, but also some good rests. I think 20 would be a fairer grade (although I only seconded!)

Mixed rock quality but spectacular climbing up a right-leaning incipient crack. Definitely no harder than 19. Short, but worthwhile.

My very first 21 climbed outdoors! Woohoo. Struggled to get up the start so I went up a few meters right then traversed across. Once your in the crack. There isnt very many places for you feet. So be prepared to get your smear pants on.

Classic crack climb and sadly one of my last at the grade on the Bluies trad circuit. Great jamming on mostly hand sized gear that felt like it would still be soft at a grade less. The only down side was some sandy rock. I love trad climbing.

Lovely climb. First couple of meters are a bit spooky, especially in light rain. Heavy rain was on the horizon, and thought about bailing, but decided going up was going to be easier. Found it relatively easy to yard on the hand jams and paste feet in order to keep moving. I'm a kook, and don't know grades, but this isn't 21. I found Gemeni harder at 19...

Took me straight back to the Frog. A rare a line for a rare style of diagonal crack climbing. "One doesn't need to know the dark and sadistic art of JamBing in order to climb this.", said the guy who finds enjoyment in other peoples' suffering. "One needs to wait for a sunny summers day in order to get the perfect friction for those thin hands JamBs.", said the same guy. "One doesn't need doubles of anything bigger than #0.5 camalot in order to experience their most blissful climbing moments.", said the same guy's master.

One rest, missed a foot-hold and stupidly attempted a campus move. Pulled back on and it was cruisy. Absolutely phenomenal climbing, favourite crack I’ve done to date. Fun and thought provoking climbing, with solid jams.

Definitely easy for a 21, but still stoked to have sent this on gear. Would have been a less stressful climb if I'd brought up the right gear. Really aesthetic line with great handjams for most of the way.

After feeling okay on second I thought I'd give it an ice cream attempt, almost felt more insecure on lead and could feel my jams slipping slightly but I actually used my feet for once. With Mira egging me on we got through it 🥳. Downgraded to a 20 because it didn't feel 2 grades harder than thruxton for example (and I don't wanna skip ice cream 😛)

One of the best pure crack lines I have tried yet in the Blueys. Amazing diagonal hand crack with solid hands and a couple of thought provoking sections. Turns out there are enough face holds to bypass all the harder jamming after watching Grace Mackie send it. After trying Solomon the following day, there is no way that this is a grade harder. Possibly still even soft for 20.

Great climb. Classic. Up there with Eternity and Sizzler. I place 3 #1 and 3 #2 Cams so take loads of those. Some spots for hexs and bigger nuts if you have them. Or just go big on the cams.It is a bit soft for a 21 so probably a 20. A great climb in your getting up into these grades. Pro is as good as it gets.

This line was awesome! It was amazing to do as the sun was setting. There was a def a bit of faffing with gear choices, but I still got the onsight in the end!

There is no way this climb is a 21. It's harder than Thruxton next door, but does not feel 2 grades harder. Cool line though, mostly hands plus/minus a size.
