Ascents in Central Tablelands as boulder

I was looking forward to trying this, removed a few leaves from the hole and about 48 billion ants came out... Needless to say, DID NOT ATTEMPT.

Flashed it, not so different from Go-Go Gadget, just a different finish. Nice big move to a jug rail.

It's all in the footwork, cool problem!

Finally got it today, hell yeah! Worked out my own beta and crushed it!

Short and sweet, there's a magic foot hold!

Classic one hold problem. Fun and tricky.

FFA. After I removed the big loose block it was time to send, ground up style. A good stance half way allows you to scrub the holds and commit to the high top out.

FFA. Bring your balls, and your big boy pants, this beast is committing, physical, technical, and stylish!

About six weeks of working the moves, afternoon session with SiennaBelle and Alex. What an awesome line! May well be the coolest boulder problem in the Zed!

First ascent in socks the day after candy cane arete was scent. No spotter! Love the friction once you get your elbows on top!

Nice little problem. Now has one jug less thanks to Paul. It only has a few moves but they are all good

Did the mantle and then stayed on the ledge for about 5 minutes trying to gain the balls required for the top out. Had one half hearted attempt. But bailed in the end. Such a committing move. Would like to try it by the light of day

Hard start but by the looks of it a good problem. I will be back on this one

FFA. Its a problem yes but not worth the effort.

FFA. A bit of low heel hooking fun but pretty dirty at the moment.

Hard start. Seems pretty cool, but the bad rock makes footers difficult. Quite a few moves for a short problem. I donated some blood to this climb to keep it true to the name.

Fun and scary. Probably soft, but I think I had about 5 goes at the top-out move before I could convince myself to actually do it. Some nice overhanging sidepulls and heel-hooks on the arete, then a terrifying (though technically easy) top-out. I'll buy a beer for the first person to do it clean without the belly-flop topout. The rock is stronger than it looks.

Harder than it looks. I did both the one move power problem, and the sequence to the right of it (which uses more hand and footholds). Would be hard if short.

Not too hard (maybe only a V0) but bloody terrifying. An extra grade for psychological difficulty? Smear on rubbish rock, throw yourself at the desperate mantle until you're standing on top of it. Then momentum to carry you through another smear and slopey mantle... All pretty highball. Fun, in a perverted sort of way.

Not too bad. Getting off via the undercling-press was a bit scary. I actually broke one of the big holds off trying to link the start of this into the crimps on the climb next to it (with both hands and one foot on the same hold), so it's a little bit harder now... Still the same grade though.

FFA. A great hanging arete on the edge of the garden.

I had a couple of attempts at this Stella highball project. Really commiting top out onto rolled over feature less top. Good to have something hard and high to come back to.

I am sure it's been done before but a bit of end of the day fun.

Every crag needs a dyno. Going to be hard for the shortie, you just got to commit.

Yeah yeah flash, a couple of tricky moves but a great stand alone problem.

Nice moves at the bottom with some crimps, slopers and pockets. Top half is jug hauling, just need to get past the mental factor of being up high.

Tricky start onto good holds and finishing up high on good holds. Watch out for the trap on the sleeper rail!

Awkward top-out (or I'm just bad at topping out) Delicate footwork indeed!

Learn the moves, and once you've got them, just traverse quickly! Soft as for V3.
