Some cool moves!! Fun sequences, nothing crazy hard but it builds. Definitely contrived though which is a shame

8th try with 2 working goes. First in this grade!! Unexpected send as my skin was shit and i was in 2nd day of climbing + sun was creeping on the crux. I kept getting highpoints tho so motivation was high. Perfect for my style! 4 boulder problems, progressively harder and the rest between them progressively worse. Still the rests are very very good i saw ppl climbed on top of the tufa - come on this is not the line at all! The upper crux goes with drop knees and could be among the most amazing boulders ive ever done - even on the ground!

Still so hot. I've damaged a finger and I'm not having fun so I'm back benching this til I get low 20's weather. It might be never... but I remember when I permanently damaged my last broken finger and thought If only.... so, lesson learnt. I'm off to have some fun now

I've decided that the weatherman has no idea so I'm just going to get on it once, every day, bolt to bolt (we'll... till I fall off) and one of those days the weather might be good. Today was supposed to be a cool 26 with some clouds and good breeze. Actually 32, it rained a bit, no breeze and an absolute sweat fest. Day 1.....

Warm up going bolt to bolt. All the moves done. Pretty muggy. Breeze doesn't hit the climb.

Probably optimistic being my 6th day on. Didn't get my high point.

Sun hit early. Fell off at low crux again but still eventually made the move. Decided on doing each crux 3 times as training before cleaning it. New crux sequence might have a slightly higher percentage. Now I just need a cool day. 30 mins after I cleaned the route it became overcast.... that'd be about right...

Not too bad. High point on 3 hours sleep. Gave scott another send belay too! (3)

One rest day was not enough. Felt super heavy! However.... high point! And got the first crux sorted again after unlearning it the other day.. (3)

For some reason I unlearnt the first crux!! And then fell into the right position while I was cleaning it. Damn! (3)

Better conditions this morning. Stuck the first crux but second crux needs some work. The moves are all there, my body isn't ready yet... haha. Getting to first tufa pinch and two feet across but then my ass pulls me off the climb. Stick that butt in girl! 2 more moves...

Free ride with the draws already on (which is good as it rained!). First shot to remember the moves. Always a bit wiggy to get to 4th bolt after watching Fia hitting the ledge yesterday but the sneaky drop knee still works a charm.

Second shot clean to first crux. Skin pain more than anything stopped me from more shots. Rough little sucker!!! (And soft girly fingers!!)

Waah. So much harder than I remember and all my calluses have worn off. Sore fingers.

Second shot a lot of it came back. Tendinitis in elbows might hinder me a bit though.

Same high point but oh so greasy! Pinged off the crux move from sweat. At least I can still get to here in this weather. X2

Early morning ascent was probably the best shot. Came back after breakfast for my second shot when it was in the tree shade but got blinded by the sun going for the first crux hold. Came back again at 4 in full shade but first shot was way too hot and last shot I was a bit fried. Hot Temps coming may mean I've missed my window but I'll keep trying. Can only make me stronger. I feel I've put all my eggs in one basket trying for a route that's totally against all my strengths but you gotta try!

Pretty much just got on the top section and worked its ass!! I'm getting clean until the penultimate hold every time but obviously need to get stronger on this section. 6 shots on the top section without getting munched up by the bottom section. Got it 5/6. Now... Rest and send! (?)

One shot in the morning but too stuffy and muggy. Still got to the same high point though. Came back in the pm but same high point and then last shot, not even 1st crux. Oh well.

2 moves higher! One more move and I'm back on holds you could rest on.... Sort of... So close!!! Need a week off for my calf to recover. Starting to resemble minced meat!

First shot was appalling. 2nd shot was really good until I left my finger in the pocket at the second crux. Day over... Recovered ok as I stopped straight away.

Reverse progress. Back to problems with the first crux. 10 degrees hotter though so I guess it's all training. Seemingly getting stronger on the second crux until all my skin peeled off.

4 shots. Last three all to same high point of mid last crux.

New high point! Got the first crux sorted and can do second crux with weight off. Slowly slowly... Just gotta get better at thin pinches... 3 shots. Each time to or near new high point.

High point. Clean to problem area but still pulled to next hold. Need to get stronger. X2

Just as we took the draws off and contemplated giving it away, I worked out the problematic move. Ok. I'll be back.

One move troubles still.

harder than I remember but then, not much climbing for 2 months will make everything harder...

got all the moves. must remember to do a high wide drop knee for the reachy move next year when I get back on it..
