Soft 6b pitch, be careful while repelling down, rope gets stucked for almost 3/4 of all the people who climb it, it is almost unavoidable, bring headlamps if you start too late in the afternoon

I did connect the 1st and 2nd pitch. Unclipping the 2nd draw from the 2nd pitch or anything that will cause the rope to drag was good. Connecting both was an awesome endurance climb. I appreciated the the fun. I took 20 draws and it was just enough. i did skip 2 bolts on the first pitch. The 6b (3rd pitch) was the highlight on Chinese New Year. The fourth pitch was equally as sharp as Odyssey at the white wall, but for a long time. It took so much balls for me to keep going because the bolts were apart.
I was able to see the 6c anchor from another multi pitch so we used that on our way down after hearing feedbacks from climbers of rope getting stuck when pulled. Luckily, I made a good call on comparing both exits. I did clip back the rappel line to the Chinese New Year last route. Not sure if necessary, but that helped me to stay in line with the route down. Rope didn't get stuck. I hope it's acceptable to go down on a different route anchor. If someone was climbing the other, I wouldn't. For experienced climbers with the skills of rope management can ascend and descend in 2.5-3 hours. Definitely a must for an easy day endurance climb. |

Really good apart from the wax bees trying to enter our ears and eyes. I was lucky and only had to fight off 3 or 4. Scott had about 20. No breeze means they get in when you are climbing, little buggers!

The two middle pitches are fun. 1st and last pitch nothing great. Last pitch has some massive runouts where a fall would cause a lot of damage (but is easy territory).
