Ascents in New Zealand by Miles Mason Winther having trad-cpr or ascent-date

Long bolted climb on quality rock. Only placed three pieces of gear on the climb. Absolutely love it!

Stiff 18 is more like it. Gear is adequate, but the entire middle section is protected only by an ancient peg. The crux is most definitely not at the top.

Stemming leads to slab climbing and then a steep finish on Arapiles-esque jugs!

Caution is required climbing to the first bolt, thoroughly enjoyable climbing follows, especially the steep moves at the top!

Some small gorse bushes in the cracks, but not enough to spoil the fun. The crux is stimulating!

Great climb, even though it doesn't look like much from the ground. Would be a perfect first trad lead.

Made a bit of a mare of this one tbh, headspace wasn't right. Very nice moves and better than average protection for the Port Hills.

Had been up it years ago seconding. Led both pitches as one. Getting a bit licheny these days.

Nicely set up route, can easily be done as one pitch

Had a play on top-rope, some very sporty moves at the grade!!

Stiff. Had to have a hang on the first pitch due to freezing fingers (screaming barfies and all!) but fantastic climbing. Finished up the Bowen Allan corner.
