Routes as boulder in Joshua Tree National Park

A mega classic of the area. Quite tall with a high crux and a nicely placed boulder to break yourself on right in the landing. Bring a few pads and spotters.

Classic of the area. A dyno (only reachy for some) with a bad sloping landing filled with cobbles. Feels a lot easier than most V3 in JTree if you have the reach to do it static

Start to the left of False Hueco and head up using a rail, crimps, and knobs.

Start at massive undercling and head on straight up.

Same start as the False Hueco Traverse. Once you pass the black streak, use the sidepull and dyno on up.

Same start as False Hueco. Traverse right along the rail until you can top out.

Climbs the knobby arete on the left. Has a V3 sit start

Starts in the bucket and dyno for the lip.

Sit start in the entrance of the low roof, left hand on a dish and right on a small pinch under the roof. Link right into Flintlock Dyno and finish at the lip.

Start as per Chuckwalla Yabo and then move to the Flintlock Dyno

Yabo-start under the low roof. Throw some cool gastons to meet up with Chuckwalla.

Sit start

Fingercrack that gradually widens near the top

Fun short problem on the flake detached from the egg. Can be done as a bathang for a harder variant.

One move wonder on the broken chunk of Dino's Egg. Yabo start on the low edge, fire to the high crimp and then the lip. Bat hang for style points.

Short overhanging problem featuring tensiony heel hooks, slapping and a very hard exit mantle.

Strenous traverse on tiny holds and footholds. Requires insane precision and perfect beta. If you like technical, slabby climbing, this is for you

Boulder the (un-protectable) start of Double Cross.

Good movements. Start is harder due to slippery footholds but gets easier as you go up. Easy top out.

Move up the the large hueco, then use slopers to top out up and right

Follow a seam right onto large sloping dishes

Up ramp and mantel onto sloping ledge

Up ramp then mantel to right side of sloping ledge

Climb rounded arete.

Can be done without hands and it is really fun and challenging. Go up the shoe-shaped hole ladder.

Slab climb faint dishes.

Climb the arete using flaring crack and slopers

Varying difficulty depending where you start

Powerful and reachy moves. Extremely height dependant, might feel impossible at ess that 5' 11" wingspan. If you have the reach, it might actually be fun to do this
