Description

Remember! Do not bother other climbers shouting or putting loud music. If you do not take a route, remove your equipment. The knowledge of the assurance techniques, the use of equipment and safe practices are essential to practice this sport with the least possible risk. Use the trails already marked. Take a bag to pick up and take back all the garbage. Take or bury your poop, away from walls, bulder, trails and water sources.

Approach

From San Rafael take Ballofet Avenue and head towards the Valle Grande along Cubillos Street, follow Route 173 towards El dam and continue along the road that goes to the Atuel Canyon, passing the Fishermen's Club (Club de Pescadores) on the lake. After travelling 19km we will arrive at the powerhouse of the hydroelectric dam number 3 and continue 2.5km until we come to a concrete road bump, which marks the Cañadón entrance with a dry stream. We enter this walking to the right following the cairn way, when walking about 250 meters we will find with the equipped walls. Distances: From San Rafael to the Dam 34km From the Dam to the powerhouse number 3 19km From the powerhouse to the entrance of the Cañadón 2,5km From the entrance of the Cañadón to the routes 250mts
