Ascents in Grotto Wall Area as Hang dog

Did the moves, felt sick today, wasn't committed for the send.

fell on my first attempt getting to the first bolt. glad i backed out when i was starting to lead it, as i would have hit the ground

climbed last to clean the gear. had to hang for a few minutes trying to get one cam out, melissas fingers are slimmer than mine and i couldnt reach the trigger xD

So much fin. Razor crimps and a barn owl.

Managed all the moves in a few sections. Packs it in for a shorty.

Tricky. It's definitely climbing the whole way!

Couldn't figure out the move so took a sit, a sneaky secret hold brought it together.

Good climb. Had to rest on rope to extract a buried cam. Good moves if you trust some smeared feet on left wall.

Only the 2nd 16 trad lead I've done & the first at arapiles. A little scary and still a bit slippery in the crack from rain the other day. The descent was interesting...

Alpine conditions this morning! Fog so thick I couldn't see beyond the sector, and so cold I couldn't feel my fingers. Not much of a warmup: pulled too hard on everything and missed most of the feet. Felt desperate, but I'm sure it's fine if you don't miss the good holds.

Extremely Slippery

Tippie toes and finger tips to clip the first carrot (i'm 5'6) but then found the moves very tough and couldn't spot the second bolt so ended up just top roping it. Sharp and powerful crimping!

Seemed pretty hard for the grade. Really struggled to get my feet up into the hole.

Unable to climb crux. Aided past after many, many attempts on top rope.

Is graded 15 in the old guide, 16 is more like it!
