Ascents in Organ Pipes Area as Hang dog

Good climb, had a punt on lead 3 grades above my highest single pitch trad lead send!! went OK but took my first big whip on my own gear - a bomber nut. Then went back and top roped to bash out said nut

Got past the roof on the second burn, need to keep my mental in check and be okay with falling on bomber gear

Tricky first pitch for sure. Second pitch also delivers.

Was so sure I had it, but I screwed up the crux again and then went for a ride. Dogged to the top before trying a few more times after lowering, however, the sun was already blasting the wall. The nut I fell on seems to be welded now... It's all yours if you can get it. Should be easier to clean when the rock cools off. I'll be back to try and clean it again in April if nobody else has by then.

Blew the onsight on the moves to the ledge from the top of the flake. For my own future reference, cross through with the right hand from the top of the flake, and then left hand to the horizontal breaks by the ledge. Offset nut and a purple cam at top of flake, silver nut in horizontal break at the ledge.

Tried again but found it too hard to not rest after placing the cam at the layback. Having to place a cam in your only decent hold for a four meter stretch is kind of mental and makes me wonder if a bolt there would be beneficial. Maybe I'm missing something. A nut instead? On a side note, it seems pretty random as to which climbs get R rated. This climb probably deserves an R: falling at any point is pretty sketchy, it's difficult (if not impossible) to double up gear at the crux(es), and critical gear is very fiddly. Make sure you're confident in your gear placement before continuing the climb, because that's probably the last piece you'll have for a while, and if it blows, you're on the ground.

Wow, what an intimidating climb. Every piece of pro is critical, and most pro is sideways and horizontal. Took a 4m whip on a sideways yellow tote about a third of the way up after messing up the foot sequence. Figured it out after a bit of faff. Will be back tomorrow. This climb is not one for the arachnophobes, there's spiders and active webs throughout.

First trad “whip”! Foot slipped on the slippery smears at the very top. I reacted by grabbing my last piece. Great climb nonetheless, keen to have another go at it

Traverse under the roof and passing through the crux wasn't too bad. Afterwards got pumped near the end and didn't want to commit so down climbed a little and took a small fall on a bomber nut. Next time if I get pumped again in the same spot I'll push through.

Very hard to read and quite tiring.

Tried to follow Cliff. Failed. Fell twice. Horrible route.

Really good. Didn't see the obvious jug at the top crux then took a nice fall on a microcam. Pulled through next go.

Took a mega 10m whip from above the the roof after crucify out getting my foot unstuck from behind a flake. Luckily totems aren’t aloud to rip. Great catch Tommathy swift

4m whip on a peenut anyone? a solid fight i did not win but defs still enjoyed (after i calmed the fuck down lmao)

Close, it’s got some powerful moves up top. lovely climbing, one to come back for.

Reminiscent of TITG, excellent and sustained climbing. I wouldn't call it thin or glassy
