20 Dream of Purple Peach Popsicles - with zac Trad 32m Classic
was a fight for my life, last climb of the trip. I got it all in the end but my goodness, some of the finger locks are quite committing. great small gear, bring doubles of everything below red.

17 Chunder Crack - with zac Trad 30m Very Good
why this has no stars in the book I don't know. was one of the only cracks I could convince zac to do with me and it went quite well. classic grovel/squeeze/ chimney that is a piece of work when you're leading, but great fun all round.

14 ~15 Faki - with ashton Trad 13m
pretty cool crack system, harder than 14 surely

18 Plume - with ashton Trad 25m Very Good
pretty good, but not as good as I thought it would be. bit of a fight actually.

18 Chocolate Watch Band - with ashton Trad 17m Good
was an ok route, top is not great though. just another 18 for me IMO.

16 Ruby Of India - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Trad 210m Very Good
awesome rad adventure getting back out onto QLD rock. was a late start to the day and a long approach up the ridge but finally made it after midday. With 3 in our group and half ropes the climbing took a while but managed to get to the top a little after sunset. it's sunny and warm during the day but once natures light disappears behind the horizon, the darkness soon turns to cold chills and the lack of food for lunch begs us to get home for a hot hearty meal!!

loved another route in Tibro. climbed cave route then onto this mega one through the base of the main cave. really cool climbing, shame all the pitches are soo short but we had a grand ol time as usual.

again started late and in a group on 3!! was a warm day and cooking in the sun but we got to the top and were all stoked with the achievement. There were a lot of bolts for a trad climb, but that's Tibro for you. Traverse Crux was pretty cool, a bit airy and exposed in spots with some marginal rock quality, but all good in the end, loved it as always with the best boys!!

Elephant Buttress
20 Trunkline - with reece Trad 30m
What a Beauty of a climb, wanted to get on this for ages!!! It's very underrated being at the far end of the crag, most people miss it. Book says 18, crag says 20. 20s about right, some hard finger crack laybacks n whatnot really get you thinking. I Was sooo close to the top with a double pinch move, but just rushed it and missed a simple foot spot. Easy enough second go, will come back another time. all the other roofs on this end wall look pretty cool too. no one else wanted to try, rap down to clean.

12 Gherkin - with reece Trad 32m
while the corner was wet, climbed this arete to set another anchor.

9 ~10 Pete's Corner - with reece Trad 37m Good
just set a TR for the group to get everyone on the wall. (multiple newbies) bit hard to see/hear the climber from the bottom but big group, meant someone could be much further back to watch.

yeah, humbled by this one, cracks a bit small for proper jams and up into the layback. got up eventually

pretty cool, too many link ups on this wall, could go anywhere with all the chalk.

what an absolute MISSION this climb was. ever since seeing Dyl and Lee on it, the same time last year, we knew we had to Do it. it just looks at you when walking up from the carpark, its a must do for anyone brave enough. with Khush And Sam in the other pair, the 4 of us set off around 8am for the mega line climb of the weekend, with the hot sun coming up, it was going to be a long day. bashed around and finally found the start about 1030 I think. as Ashton wasn't leading I had to do every pitch, which was a struggle after a while, but well worth the push on. i was in front so some of the pitches I left gear in the climb for the others to lead on, which helped them, but made us all quiet slw together. first 4 or 5 were pretty good with the pitch 6 traverse being super exposed, I was told I took the line to high but except for the heinous drag, ended quite well. after that I think I did part of Pegesus, some sick corner finger crack, that Ashton really struggled on, but everything else was cruizy. until we got to the top in the dark and didn't remember where the rap was, took quite a while to figure out it was on the other summit. and then 1 hour turned to 2, then 4, then we were at camp at 2am. soo when you're out of water for 4 hours and not thinking too clearly, time just goes on. but all went physically well, and we got up the next day for another one!!

Sun 31st Mar 2024 - Warrumbungles

10 Vertigo - with Jords Trad 95m Very Good
pretty good, Jordan got on his first lead for a while, then I finished the rest in a 55m and 15m pitch. after the epic the day before, getting off was super easy, and got back to camp at like 4pm.

19 Drunk and Disorderly - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Sport 15m, 4 Very Good
back on the slab, which requires much more concentration and patience, each step at a time. cool moves but I did use a stiff draw to clip a few early, as it would be a gnarly big swing off.

15 Goose Step - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Trad 15m Very Good
awesome hand crack, one for the learners. bit of thinking needed for the middle section with good jams to be found. khush gave it a red hot go, but still trying to work out the best way to jam for powerful moves and high foot steps.

15 ~15 Duplo - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Trad 15m
I found this quite tricky for a warm up 13. gear was good but the techy feet and undercling moves felt hard

great route, a couple of different methods used, but a while longer than anticipated, so only got the 1 multi done. did another pitch at the top, from Balance, well worth the variant finish.

Orroral Ridge Tower Rocks
16 Hard Ebony Quill - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Trad 15m Classic
nice but quite hard to find, this area is just massive boulders all piled on top, with lots of little caves and squeezes. starts at #6 and finishes on micros. Yes final move is quite hard, I definitely finished the route but the topout was the crux.

15 Lincoln's Lament - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Trad 25m Very Good
pretty cool ramp, that steepens. gear is fine but with flaring cracks at points.

way out left of the crag, also pretty av but a couple of hard moves. tried to stay on the face as much as possible and make it tough for myself.

19 The Slab LH Variant Start - with Dylan Glavas Mixed trad 15m, 3 Good
feels very forced, up through the middle of the slab, without using the jugs on either side. not the greatest, but may as well do the hard climb of the crag.

Sat 29th Jul 2023 - Orroral area
Booroomba Rocks Cave Wall
25 Cave Route - with Dylan Glavas Mixed trad 20m, 6 Classic
wasnt going to get on this one but Dyl convinced me with his pshyc to climb hard!! think this deserves more than one star even though I didnt finish it. great moves up through the roof up to the dyno. tried the dyno a few times and was close but didnt land it, then bailed off bolt. headwall above prob gives this climb the grade, looks techy AF. ill come back another time.

1 cam is definitely necessary, but could be changed to a sport climb.

an absolute stunner of a climb, which definitely makes up for the shit approach through the thick bush. 3 interesting pitches, P2 is super run out for sure buuuuut, its only like grade 12 so just dont look back till you make it to the ledge. khush started off well, then i finished the rest. got a nut stuck on P1 so i climbed up once we got to the bottom again, will be sure to return here, for the harder slabs PSA; Road will be open after winter!!!!!!!!

Sat 24th Jun 2023 - Gibraltar and Corin Road
Billy Billy Sling Blade
17 ~18 Big-mouthed Bass Crack - with Dylan Glavas Trad 10m Very Good
whoever graded this either has very small hands or doesn't know what 17 cracks should be, maybe it's just old-school 17 idk. It's mainly green size (which is too small) and pretty steep and it was getting late, so only got 3m up and decided to down lead the crack. also the walk-in and belays had snow so fingers were freezing.

ill come back in summer again and try these then.

Sat 24th Jun 2023 - Gibraltar and Corin Road
Billy Billy Sarah's Cracks
19 Hard Piano Man - with Dylan Glavas Trad 12m Classic
pretty sweet line, this is for sure. couple of real hard locks i had to think about and placing gear in a rush while shaking and slipping out of a jam is always fun. real technique type operation it was, but seams like one of the only fairly graded hard cracks this place has to offer.

17 ~16 Nice Day for a White Wedding - with Dylan Glavas Trad 15m Classic
would say the grade of this is a bit easy. perfect jams and a bit slab off vert. did it in hiking boots and cruized up for first climb of the day.

Sat 17th Jun 2023 - Orroral area
Booroomba Rocks North Buttress Northern Slabs
9 Sunstroke - with Chloeskehan Trad 120m Very Good
Real cruizy type Operation here, just a meander up the slabs, but did break it up into 4 P so easy to see Chloe, she had a love/hate relationship with this one!! would smash out 3-4 of these with Dyl I reckon, if we rap on an 80m fixed line, and link/solo a lot of the easy slab sections.

Mon 12th Jun 2023 - Nowra

18 Diddy Kong - with Dylan Glavas, Khush Dodhia-Shah, Jesse Greer, Erin Pearce Sport 24m, 8
pretty cool, classic Nowra to be bolting lines right next to a perfectly good crack.

first climb after I popped my knee out. took it easy on the TR. pretty nice climb, thin hard start

Sun 11th Jun 2023 - Point Perpendicular
Bayside Bluebeard Area
18 Lithium - with Dylan Glavas Trad 10m Classic
faaaar out, this gets the heart racing with the position youre in. right from the rap down you are in free space. the belay is on two carrot bolts, feet hanging over the edge 50m above the crahing ocean. one of the scariest belay stations ive been on, needed a cam to back up the anchor, as the carrots just dont give full mind security, (found out after, dyl thinks one of the bolts is a bit loose!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH. climb is real short and pumpy, jugs for most of it, couple insecure jams thrown in there but its just the 10deg overhang and fulltime exposure that gets you goin.

18 Hard Horn Blown - with Khush Dodhia-Shah, Dylan Glavas, Erin Pearce, Jesse Greer Trad 30m Classic
could write a long story and the epic night that was had down on that cliff. with some close calls and some things not working out as expected. thought I tore my MLC again, 3m from the top, through a crux roof. still dislocated (heard a pop) but ended up being ok, not too serious, more annoyed I didnt get the route clean and had to aid the last couple metres.

Sat 10th Jun 2023 - Point Perpendicular
The Lighthouse Centurion Area
15 Impact Zone - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Trad 10m Good
Khush had a good lead on this one, getting used to the jamming techniques and placing gear in crack systems while hanging on a jam. I ran up on second in hiking boots

Sat 10th Jun 2023 - Point Perpendicular
The Lighthouse Superliner Area
19 Superliner - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Mixed trad 35m, 7 Very Good
what an unreal line, this place is one of my favourite crags in AUS. there is soo much variation in routes, with heaps of cracks and face climbs, but the mega exposure and overhangs, straight to the sea deck is what makes this place sooo spectacular. I mean, seeing whales, dolpins and seals all within 300m of the cliff is a glorious scene in itself.

Finally got the chance to get back on this mega line, as we decided to bail off as a party of 3 last year, due to going the wrong way. this climb is great, has a bit of everything, some scary runouts, fiddly gear, slab and chimney climbing and some big jugs to keep you sane.

what a great route to introduce khush to the Bungles. we definitely started right but as the whole wall was quite easy we may have wandered into Vertigo a little but that's fine as it was a great climb, Loved it. hoping to do a lot more at the bungles, all over this place!!!

Tue 28th Mar 2023 - Canberra
Murrumbidgee River Red Rocks
18 Red Sorghum - with Dylan Glavas Sport 20m, 8 Very Good
great climb, with lots of cool features. except for the first 2m, where I held a draw to the clip. will definitely come back here, some real gems I'm sure (stays dry in light rain)

but what an area, quite the experience to get there and even more interesting to get back out. water was at 1.8m online and we could jump on rocks to get there but had to swim back to get out. now have a lot of wet gear but nothing to worry about really. about 30 min walk each way from main carpark, would be shorter if you park at the right spot earlier on the road.

16 Willie The Pooh - with Dylan Glavas Sport 15m Good
decent climb for the easiest one on the wall. bit of a traverse so TR is a bit hard. if you do the 19 extension above, you will need a 70m for sure.

20 Gobber Head - with Khush Dodhia-Shah Mixed trad 40m, 11 Very Good
this is the variant everyone does. do not know how people stay on the wall with that amount of slipperiness. i really tried but had to hold a draw instead of falling down the slab so not clean. would have tried it again if it wasn't going to be soo hot an hour later and still had more to send.

did the Gobber head variant, which is worth it, but damn that slab is slippery! theres undercling wives to start which is cool and then some very technical, small slabby moves to some thin holds, then finish easy. will do it again another day in the future, with very grippy shoes

5 20 Trad lead by Harrie Van de Linde

this pitch is an insane finish to a great start to the weekend. Lots of pump up the steep crack to a glory finish. LOVED it, and a sensational view of Blowering at the top!!
