Ascents of Up.

I wanted to climb Blow but I got on this route by mistake and realized mid-point it felt a little too hard for a 22. Examining the guidebook later confirmed this, Blow seems to be around the arete, I climbed on the other side though.

Hard start move took a couple of cracks then easy climbing to top.

First try, fell getting to the 4th bolt

At 178cm I found the start sequence brutal!!! high feet and undercling to jug hard 25 easy 26 about the same difficulty as holelipstick hippy and harder than paint god and crumple zone total bag of sand. The linkup is probably more the grade and a nicer climb because of it

Slipped on the first move and botched the on-sight so came to the ground, took a minute break, then got it on my next try. Good fun climbing, explosive start then keep going.

Feels like it'll go, just need to be fresher

Progress, clean to the third (key past here was a toe not the heel) eventually finding beta for the start (knee bar, load the left crimp and side/undercling right then fall left hand to the right hold) but was pretty pumped after that!

Hard, couldn't get the first move and sat on just about every bolt after that but I think a worth while project, some great climbing!

Much more composed. Potentially a low hold should be glued or removed or is going to remove itself in near future. careful.

Hard for a 24. Can't reach first move. got the sequence through the middle. Bulge 3/4 tricky R) sidepull

Didn't really enjoy this one.

Did the first moves pretty static with a left hand on the underclings, right hand up to a high right crimp then pump right again. Worked a treat first go, but left me pretty pumped! Nice climbing

First move is ridiculous

2nd shot today (plus about 2 million attempts at the first jump move before I stuck it). Cruised the rest of it once I stuck the jump, except for being sandbagged by a Red Herring tick-mark at the mid-height crux, necessitating a 2nd shot for the tick. Cruxy, but worthwhile. Varied.

EOD lap. Still took a couple of moves to stick the start. Got pumped.

Fuck it. I can't do the first move so gave up and moved on. Would be a nice link doing the start via Blow.

Great to repeat your own routes. Its pretty 'on' from the big reach at the start.

My proudest onsight so far! Wicked starting Dyno (didn't expect to stay on), then realised i didn't have any draws and had to hang around while Matt and Vanessa fetched some for me, haha! After that, i figured i had to try to get there and i just kept committing and got there. Great route Jenga!

2 shots. Best route I did all day (by a long shot). The start can only be done with a throw/dyno (not as hard as it looks) but after that it is ON. Quite sustained, tough at the grade, but with intriguing and VARIED climbing. The crux sequence was awesome to unlock (using MY technique), and the pseudo-slab at the top makes a feisty sting in the tail. The main crux hold was a bit damp after the rain, maybe next. Worth another shot, for sure.

FFA. Victorian 23, Bluies 24, Queensland 25.. You be the judge? Big first undercling move then grimpy moves to a poor rest before the reachy crux. Awesome rock and sweet moves. Climb the top crux direct!!
