Leura Sublime Point West Face (Main Area) Middle Cliffs Theory of Negativity Wall
20 Theory of Negativity - with Stephen Varney Sport 22m, 9 Classic
Clean repeat. Just a bloody great route, probably one of the best at the grade in the Blueys.

Leura Sublime Point West Face (Main Area) Middle Cliffs Theory of Negativity Wall
20 Theory of Negativity Sport 22m, 9 Classic
Clean repeat. A great warmup, and a route that has cleaned up spectacularly in the 7 years since I last did it. Thoroughly fun.

23 On the Wagon Sport 22m Very Good
Warm-up, placing the draws this time. Felt easy this time. Height is a definate advantage on this one.

22 The Draw Thief Sport 20m, 11 Average
A few hardish moves, then sustained pump to the top. A bit contrived, and bad rock. Probably the worst of the bolted routes on this wall.

2nd shot. It shouldn't have taken me 2 shots, but I guess I'm just crap. After the first shot I came back down, untied, pulled rope, and went straight back up and walked up the climb easily. Probably soft at the grade, but definately harder if you're short. 2 distinctly cruxy sections in very differing styles, with an easy 19ish top half. I like this climb, I think it's probably under-rated.

23 The Cramps Sport 22m, 10 Very Good
Stoked with this onsight, cause I felt like it demanded a lot of me (this just isn't my style of climb). Bouldery start, followed by some more boulderiness, and finishing with some reachiness. Great rock, and... um... bouldery climbing. Thanks Neil!

Argh! I totally thought I had the onsight... Pulled through to the end of the main crux, no chalk on anything and no obviously good holds, so I launched to what looked okay... And it wasn't. Got straight back on and got it clean to the top. If my belayer hadn't had to run, I'd have definately given it another lap. After the first few metres, the climbing is really interesting, with an awesome technical crux, followed by an exciting physical crux. Mostly great rock.

20 Theory of Negativity Sport 22m, 9 Very Good
Repeat. Another lap to put the draws on for Amanda. Classy climbing all the way. Definately a route I'm happy to lap.

Hard for the grade, but surprisingly good. It hides a classic sting in the tail to keep you working for it the whole way. Get on it!
