Cool. P1 sweet. P2 weird. P3 awesome.

2 pitch start crux more like a 23 move 3 pitch really great

Excellent 3rd pitch and good 1st pitch. Very windy high up which made things quite exciting. Onsight except for the boulder problem at the start of the 22 - which feels quite desperate for shorties.

First pitch only

With Scotty Wearin. At the lower-end of "classic", but still a classic for this part of Pierces Pass, IMO. Every pitch has something worthwhile about it. P1: (Onsight) - Spectacular long, varied climbing up a cool line, marred by some rubbish ground-fall bolting in a few sections. The honeycomb-stemming section is brilliant; P2: (Red-Point - I fell off the start twice before I bothered to hang on the bolt to find the holds to use. Clean 3rd shot) - Nails boulder-problem start (until you find the holds) then over very quickly. The choss-traverse is entertaining in an old-school way. I accidentally tried to climb the weird low-traverse, got mid-way along before I realised it was grade 1 million, and managed to reverse back onto the line on link); P3: (Dog - In the full summer sun, I managed to climb to the last bolt before the doddly slab, placing the draws, before slipping off unexpectedly on the final moves... D'oh!) - A brilliant face-and-arete pitch on great rock, and with a huge variety of moves. Super-exposed up the arete. Probably 23, not the 24 in the guide; P4: (Clean 2nd) - An ordinary pitch... until you get to the final moves, which are brilliant and memorable.

Pitch 1 O/S - long pitch of fun climbing ona variety of interesting holds. Pitch 2 - had a couple of goes at the starting moves on 2nd before linking it clean. Hard start but the climbing tapers off quickly to an exposed traverse/crawl. 3rd pitch - Couldn't work out the tough moves above the 2nd bolt on my onsite attempt, sorted it after a rest. Started from belay and climbed the pitch clean. Classic climbing up an awesome line. 4th pitch - Clean on 2nd, looks rubbish but still climbs ok.

Fun first pitch, average 2nd pitch, Mega 3rd pitch and filler 4th pitch. Crux pitch felt more like 24 as per the print guide.

P1 Only - great warmup

Only the crux pitch. Loved it! Went up to rescue a stuck rope, didn't know what it was, but looked doable.

Had done other pitches with www, onsight crux pitch, very nice moves and great position
