two rests on 1st try.

One rest on 2nd try, stuffed up crux sequence.

placed gear on the way down. Good in middle section and start. Dodgy at crux, but can extend long sling down should do it. Dodgy in upper 1/3, but climbing's a lot easier. One rest at crux, then all good.

Again, one rest at crux, then got it & on up, taking gear as I went. Need Ball Nuts too for this one.

A lot of rests. Unfortunately :-( A fair few down there this evening. Nice cool breeze flowing through.

Unbelievable summer. Too hot to do much of anything except gasp. Struggled my way up it 2x. Not many there this morning, after last-night's rain, but a fair turn-out.

Only one rest. Not many down there this morning.

Pushed too soon. Had to take a rest just before the crux. Not too many down there today. Relatively cool tho.

With OPG. Persuaded Dave to set-up on this one again, so I could have a crack at it.

With OPG. A good workout on this one.

With OPG. Very goey at the crux, can get the rest tho.

With OPG, came a bit later on in my career, after my year of study in 2000. This one requires commitment & strength.

Only 6 or so rests. Hot stuff. But the heat & humidity :-(

Tough, but we made it.

With OPG. Nice warm up.

With OPG. Got it for the first time!

With OPG. Nice one to work out on.

With some guidance, stuck that tricky start move, then all good.

This one is manageable.

With Dave. Finally got the mantle. 15 pieces of gear.

Of course I just had to drag Adam up this on trad. Still and all, a very nice lead.

With Justin. Nice moves on this one & I like the gear on it.

Working it to get an idea of the gear, needed lots of cleaning.

With Ron. The usual horror feast after rain. Couldn't manage that mantle near the top., grrr, revenge! Ron did well on it.

With OPG. Couln't get it after the 6mth layoff.

With Dan & Thomas. Couldn't hack the direct version so went the old way.

With OPG. Very much a struggle.

3 rests, but hot day.

With EFC - Tony belaying. Never been able to get it clean & only been to the top once prior to this!

Rope solo. still can't come close to getting it clean.

With Sean. Watching him zip up it like a monkey was just incredible, he'd do it in about 45 secs.!

Rope solo. 5,941 rests & I made it! Almost 5 years, unbelieveable. I then TRd it for Hannes from Germany & belayed while he had 1 rest at the crux, very good going for first time.

Rope solo. It'll take some working on for me to get this clean.

Theoretically I should be able to get the dyno on this one in a tall reach, I'm tall enough & others are able to do it. Only made it once with a little belay help.

Very tough at the crux. Just can't get that thin foothold above the FH. Geoff was a patient belayer.

Rope solo. Same old struggle.

With BRC - Graham belayed. Better this time, only a few rests.

Rope solo. Fell my way up it.

With Craig & Katy. Same time as above.

With Geoff. A few rests along the way.

With Craig. Many rests.

With Susy. Doing a work out.

With Craig & Katy. Worked this one for a while & was finally able to put it all together with some rests.

With Craig. After many rests, was finally able to figure out the crux move sequence. Requires a bit of a reach tho.

With Susy. One rest at the crux this time.

With Craig & Katie. Several rests at the crux sequences.

With Geoff. A couple of rests at the crux.

With EFC. Buddah struggled a bit at the crux, but we all enjoyed it.

Rope solo. Not much stronger, falling my way up it.

With BRC. Couldn't do the crux clean.

With OPG. Still a struggle, but not much climbing this year due to TAFE.
