With Ron. Couldn't clear the headspace & had to take a rest at the first crux. Nice bolting job by Adam.

Got my knickers in a twist at the crux & used some of the gear to downclimb. It certainly is an undertaking, ended up with about 20 pieces in.

One rest at the crux, then good all the way.

Rope solo. Checking out the gear, it's good, just a couple of spots where it's a bit run-out. I think I ended up with 15 pieces placed, not counting the top out.

Can't even manage the top crux.

Came off at the 2nd crux & ripped my finger. After Robbie

Ron couldn't manage the crux to clean it, so another run up it is good.

With Clovis. He had to rest at the crux, but good effort, almost an onsight.

With EFC. Back to work revenge on this one that stuffed me up last Sat.

As a warm up to Idiot Wind. Jody belayed & 2nded, then we put Carl on it who's never climbed in his whole life and he got to the crux, which was pretty good going.

Always a nice lead. Ron got his knickers in a twist at the crux, but persisted & got there.

Grant belayed. LH is feeling a tiny bit stronger = this was surprisingly easy.

Down at KP with Budda & Marty & some more. Couldn't swing the crux without a rest.

Stuffed up the crux sequence & had to rest before punching it thru. It also gave me the opportunity to check out the last bit of the Eddy... pitch 1. I'm pretty damned trashed at the moment.

Stuffed the crux sequence again and came off. Nice catch by Guy, my first lead fall in almost a year and I almost ended up on top of Guy - about a 5m whipper!

Feeling rather woosy today. 2 rests. Ron belayed & did well to 2nd this one.

With Damo. Totally wiped out on the crux move, needed 3 shots, then OK.

3 rests, hey not so bad (not). But left wrist is OK which is the main thing.

2nd tick, still 3 rests, but OK, all good.

Nothing like saving the onsight hang-dog ascent. Well it might have been a 16 back in '75 when John & Rob TR'd it, but now - more like a 19/20. That bulge of rock left of Bombadil's crux is a worry with 360° cracks. LOTS of loose rock & s**t on it, so would need a major clean up & the top-out is blocked. Harldy worth it, but....knowing KP :-/

Not sure if it was 2001 or with EFC I did this one. It took a lot of strength & knowledge of the route tho.

With BRC. A tough little nut to crack. Not well protected, wouldn't like to lead it.

With EFC. Had to rest tho. I keep forgetting the sequence thru the tough bit.

Another 2 weeks lost to the Hs = depressing. Got up it with only a couple of rests.

Still F'in bloody hard 2nd time around! Can't get that crux clean as yet. A pretty honest 21 - way harder than Idiot Wind for example.

No way this is the first ascent of this obvious line. Most likely the FA was too ashamed to take ownership of this line, crappy & dangerous as it is. Can't believe how much ground-up onsight took out of me, but the tooth doesn't help matters.

Michael was keen to add to this route while he was on a lighting visit up here. Lots of trad gear on route, just one nasty run out from Pink Beret to clip 3rd BC bolt.

Guy had warned me it was a sandbag at 16, but I think in retrospect, while it is sustained, I'm thinking maybe 17. Gabby belayed, Dave 2nded. Some blocks are definitely suspect, needs a bit more traffic.

Dan belayed. Ran up it, it's has some nice moves on it.

I really like this one, some sexy moves on it. Ron did well 2nding it without a rest.

Was a bit pumped after 3 laps on Dysentery, but Woohoo! My first lead after the accident! Went well, Olga belayed, Yarik 3rded.

This has some goey moves on it, the crux is a great sequence. Jon belayed.

Wow, I thought it might have been close to 2yrs since I ticked this one - 2yrs & 2mths! Stuffed the crux well & truly. Got it 4th go. Jody had to try the crux 3X before she got it, but bloody good effort as she's so much shorter than me.
