After Grant. Knocked the glasses off at the crux, so did that blind.

Wow, not bad to get back and do a lap on this one. Ankle held up pretty good. Dan belayed.

With Ron. A fast lap up it. Ron did well to get through the crux with only a couple of rests.

Another run up it to clean the gear.

With Johan. He did an excellent onsight of the DF.

2nded Dave up it this time.

TR'd this one mainly for NZ Mike, but took a lap on it as a warm-up. Mike did the 17 version then BP & thought them pretty much on the money grade wise.

With Damien. Always a nice run up it.

With Jack. Just a run up it to set up a top rope. Bit of a struggle for Jack tho.

Always a great little warm-up. Adam belayed & 2nded.

Guy kindly consented to belay me while I did this one yet again after my belayer forgot his harness and went home to get it.

A nice lead first up in the morning. The new RBs make it a much safer lead. Dave belayed & 2nded.

My absolute favorite lead at KP, a beauty with nice moves at the overhang. Geoff belayed me first time up.

Arthritis seems to be improving slightly the more ascents I do (pain slightly diminished).

Struggle street. The arthritis makes life hard. :-(

A LOT of rests. Pain level was pretty high. :-(

2nd shot of the day=still had to break at the crux, but l.wrist still good.

Actually made it to the top - with 6,117 rests.

First time on rock in a couple of months. A couple of rests to get to the top.

Surprised I made it. Essentially aiding it. First time back on rock since the weather event last month.

Finally made it. Only 3mths since I did a full lap on it.

Basically a fall ascent. Need to get my head straight. But nice to know I can still get up it. 🤠

My foot slipped at the 2nd bolt - yee Gods! First time for everything. Clovis belayed and 2nded.

With EFC. Tony belayed. Needed a rest.

With EFC. Fell my way up it.

2 rests. The worst part is: I can do it clean, but lack the motivation.

Would do more laps, but gotta tap out BAT + MM for rebolting.

Bit late in the day, baking hot sun. Note to Robert de Nero: don't start at 12:30. (Finally cleared away the mess at SOS = )

The unknown person who f'ed around with my TR setup had me spooked. So I clipped into the bottom 3 RBs. But nice to know I can still get through the crux clean. :-| (Spent most of the morning helping 3 climbers get setup safely.)

Should have pushed for a clean ascent. Spent most of the afternoon keeping the Norwegians safe. :-/

Third time a breeze. Perfect day for it tho, not too hot.

Last time on it today, still hands down easy. Early arvo, not many there.

All good, but rather hot after a very cold night.
