Ascents in Ramona Buttress

Bolts where the climbing is difficult. One mental section in the middle where you need to commit above a nest of RPs, had me spooked. Probably the longest route in the gorge.

Really nice route with great moves and gear. Not easy to onsight but once I figured the moves it went pretty easy on next go. Had a victory skinny dip in Esk river afterwards

On Elliot's gear. Very cool movement.

Mega route. Probably the best at the grade in the gorge that I've done. Agonisingly close to the onsight as I slapped desperately on top of the pillar searching for the glory jug. Wasn't stoked with my gear below and in my panicked state grabbed the rope as I fell (idiot). Gave myself a stonker rope burn. Second shot on pinkpoint went much better. Managed to give myself a black eye when I tested a red offset a little too enthusiastically and it ripped straight into my face. Keen to come back and place the gear when it's not in full sun.

Packs a punch for a short number. Very classy movement. Clean on second TR lap.

Onsight attempt didn’t last too long! Tough off the deck, then delightful. Good gear the whole way

Got it second go. I thought this was pretty good but it felt hard to me.

Tough to read the very spotty sequence on the onsight attempt.

Fun movement but mediocre rock.

Wasn't planning on heading up this one but it pulled me in, brilliant climbing technical climbing with a few power moves thrown in, loose blocks at the top ad to the excitement

Alcohol fueled sweats made this one more excitable than what I was expecting

Couldn’t work out the starting moves up after the step out right this time, and the top move before the horizontal break took three attempts. Leading this one might be further away than I thought

Did all the moves, just too chicken to try and maybe fall.

Awesome climb, Strong move out onto the face from a ledge, a series of difficult to read moves between the two bolts are protected by good but small gear just below your feet. Small offwidth/chimney section leads to a fun diagonal hand crack to finish.

Resonable climbing, serves as a good warm up.

Top roped again to sus the gear and moves. Flared crack through the layback section takes a green C4 and a yellow/orange offset mastercam. Good small wire (brass offset) in slot placed with left hand from sharp pocket. Grey/purple offset cam in next slot, then small silver wall nut in diagonal crack. Amazingly stylish movement. Must be one of the best short routes in the gorge.

Came back after trying this a couple of months ago thinking I'd be able to clean it up this time. Got my arse handed to me. Bottom crack was wettish, and horizontal break was dripping. Eventually dragged myself and my bleeding fingers up it with a couple of falls and sits. I think I've got a good sequence now though.

Too hard for me, even on top rope, but not outside the realms of possibility. Really cool climb

Felt pretty confident I could lead it. Took my first decent fall on trad gear. Had another look at it, couldn't work out how to do it easily so downclimbed off of it. Another day perhaps

Couldn't fit my fingers into the thin crack. Great route.

Top roped because I didn't like the look of the tiny gear. It turns out the placements are excellent. Awesome, unlikely climbing. I'll be back for this one.
