Ascents of Ivy Crack

Couldn't figure out the bottom.

Second shot. Had to fight so hard and emptied the tank completely

Quite easy really, once you clear the silt at the bottom

Great fun! Solid finger crack, even more so placing gear. Backs right off after the finger crack but an excellent longer route. Needs traffic to keep it clean!!

Had shot at climbing while placing the gear. Definitely makes things harder.

Took a couple of goes to work out the sequence of locks at the bottom. Led to the top, lowered off, then led clean with the gear in. Great crack climbing. 23 might be a bit generous. It only gets 21 in the old guidebook. Would be harder placing the gear. Could do with a good clean to get all the dirt out of it.
