Met an old man today who assured us the area was being climbed in the 50s, and who, delighted by my modern rope, regaled us with a tale of an early nylon rope being used to climb the Three Sisters, on which taking a fall, 'melted by stretching' and the leader falling to his demise 'left bits of himself all the way down the cliff, including his scrotum'. Inspired by such wonders, attacked and finally overcame this ticklish problem, and departed, with anatomy, and modern rope, intact.

You have to know where the secret holds you can't see are, depending which way you attack the last bolt.
