Ascents in Morna point having Beta

There appears to be a variant of Eye Moss You that goes further left after the first 2 bolts to another DBB that look slightly older, I had a couple of goes trying the left top variant but couldn't figure out the last couple of moves to the DBB's after the 4th bolt. But managed to "onsight" (I had to downclimb after failed attempts on the left top variant) what I think was the typical Eye Moss You (Direct)

Fell at the crux, sent after working beta sitting on the draw.

Rather upset possum residing in the crack just above the 4th bolt… gave me an off putting screech as I unknowingly crept my hands along the rail towards it haha

First climb of the day, kinda brutal warmup. Tough in the middle for some reason with some hidden holds spaced apart. Might have just been getting used to the rock. Cool stuff though

Kinda short but fun moving up the flake

Very cool climb with a reachy move at the bottom. Fun sequence. Managed to hold the pump at bay and snagged the flash. Awesome bulletproof rock and killer location. V4 approach

Easy start then kinda cool moves at the end, but surprisingly cooked clip with some dodgy heel hooking, eh.

Enjoyed this one. Good variety of moves.

Couldn't figure out the moves between last bolt and anchors

Bit wet due to rain overnight. Couldn't commit to the moves below the anchors, had to go up 'MT' to set up on top rope.

Got super sketched out especially by the run out top

Went up "Lobster Trap" to setup top rope on this route

Great climb, but very exposed to long fall between second clip and finish

First 25 onsight! Stoked! Some very cool moves/boulder problems at the start and end of the route, very cool stuff

Surprised a sleeping possum and retreated to leave it be. On reflection the route may have collapsed too

I was able to lead the climb using the anchors for swsc.

Decided to retreat with concern of some decent saved loose rock. Also very run out.

Hot take, Point Perpendicular is an awful pile of congealed seagull poop with unexceptional climbing, compared to Port Stephens rhyolite. Excellent moves and rock, though a a bit short and dirty I'll grant.

Easier than the way in and out of the crag. Was fun just to get this tick.

A loose rock about 2.5m 10o'clock from first bolt. Another loose rock about 50 cm 5oclock from anchors.

this would make for a really awesome climb. Unfortunately we ran out of daylight and the route was rather wet on this day. It would be nice to return to this crag on a better day.

The time of day and weather conditions made the climbs in this crag too wet. Hard to trust holds And the massive runout between the first and 2nd bolt has potential for ground fall. Weird.
