Twinged a tendon and called it a day

Bit of a laugh, morning coffee walk and saw this slab, had to put my flat white down for a crack

Pumped out at the top of the layback

this is super sick, one to come back for for sure

Attempted this on top rope hung off some bolts at the top after jw lead on gear. Was pretty tired/pumped by the time I tried this, but figured I may as well give it a go since the rope was already up. Struggled a bit at the bottom, wanted to just fully lay back and hand over hand the crack, but didn't have the strength for it. Eventually figured my way up the crack, basically had to trust my feet on tiny things I hated on the left wall, as well as some grips that didn't feel fully secure to my tired hands. I hung around on the rope resting a fair bit, trying to inspect but not loving anything I saw, and then just going for it on tiny things and realising they actually seemed to hold. Eventually got up to about 80-90% done, but was way too tired and pumped to be able to hold what I needed to finish. Was on the wall for a good 50min or so. I could probably finish this when less tired + if I remember to trust my feet/hands on the tiny things more and just go for it rather than going too slow and getting pumped.

Little crimps are not my friends, and it felt really weird having to actively avoid all of the good holds on The Bummer (14) at times, but after a lot of attempts/hanging/inspecting/resting on the ledge, I made it past the first bit where I got stuck, and then got up to about 80-90% or so, where I just didn't have the stamina to figure out the finish. I think I could see the rough beta, but my hands no longer wanted to close on the holds I needed. Spent just over 1hr on the wall for this one. Climbing fresh, I could probably get this next time.

First attempt at this one, pretty crude beta, got pumped really quickly, pretty inefficient. Made it maybe halfway through the first part of the crack. Some of the nearby rocks were wet, but they didn't seem to be directly part of the route, so probably fine.

Got some beta tips off jw, took a more efficient approach to climbing the initial parts of the crack, made it maybe just under 50% up the route (near 'the triangle hold'), but even after multiple attempts/rests on the rope/inspecting holds/etc, couldn't make it much higher. At one point I got a hold or two higher, but was too pumped to get anywhere from there, and then couldn't manage to even get back to that position again later. Maybe next time!

Lead attempt, clipped the first 4 bolts, but then got stuck and couldn't figure the next moves.

Couldn't figure how to do the move the hueco and stay on the rock.

Didn't have a pad but probably would've been fine. Not worth risk to ankles. Start was easy, then either pull through low percentage sloper rail or committing throw to juggy rail.

Still find this one really hard

Had a few goes to try it out. Got to going for the slopers on top after the first 3 moves. Didn't really rate it tbh. Not that fun imo. At least the moves on zeus are fun this is just not that fun and also uninspiring. Probably be back for it though eventually haha.

Nearly got the 2nd half in one go. Next time!

Top out is tougher than I'd hoped.

Pulled all the moves just bailed off the top out because I don't like em.
