Spectacular. The first two pitches may make you think "why am I here?", but the others are sure to deliver. Arapelisian jugs with mediocre to okay protection. Would do again.

Great adventure. Rock quality and protection better than I expected. Topo and beta at https://tinyurl.com/yacsaz6d is spot on (although “caves” mentioned near the top of the route are more like overhangs over gullies). Only downside was for the first 20mins of the climb playing Russian roulette with rocks being hurled from the top by tourists landing all about us. Otherwise Boola Miyel put on a spectacular time for us: shooting stars from the previous nights bivy spot, incredibly beautiful sunrise, amazing exposure and view throughout the climb, great weather and a special moment with a huge pair of wedge tail eagles circling on the updraft just off the face.

Wow!!! What an epic adventure!! We were blessed with perfect weather on Sunday and set off from the car park at 5.30am and summited at 3pm. Note! The Airy traverse on pitch 5 is “Really” fricken Airy!!! 🤪

Epic adventure, runout, exposed, chossy loose rock, wet/ slimy in places. Went off route on last pitch (took the steep wall directly above the belay on the right, instead of the wall on the left), gripping climbing, exhausted, had a fall on small cam just on dark, almost benighted but luckily Dave found exit ramp after dark, returned 15 hours after leaving the car park.

There were some classic moments with amazing views and great exposure. But so much vegetation on your face, not sure I want to go back... I don'e even know what happened in pitch one (maybe a foothold blew?), but I was all of the sudden flying and I got caught by a 000 C3 and pure rope drag — none of my belayers had to catch the fall!!! Rope drag was horrendous throughout the day, but worst of all in pitch 1... Another highlight was smacking my own face with a 0.3 cam

Hiked all the way up hoping for the weather to clear, but no joy. In an optimistic attempt we thought we could ascend to the height of the Prick'll Traverse and bail from there... weather came down as I reach the first belay... bailed!

Planned to do Devil's Nose Direct, but I wasn't feeling the love for run out trad this time around, so I convinced Ash to carry on up HFG instead. It's a great route anyway, and we just missed the rain and lightning so it turned out to be a fortuitous decision.

What a day! Surprisingly good rock =) took us over 7 hours carpark to carpark
the airy traverse on the 5th pitch was amazing and was definitely the highlight for me! Best to go inexpecting bad pro and run outs however the rock was surprisingly solid =) |

Third time up le Bluff and finally managed to do Hellfire in it's entirety. The traverse pitch is just awesome. Don' think I've ever had that much air beneath my feet. Maybe we took a different line but the last pitch has some proper climbing. A few little overhanging sections felt much harder than the stated grade 12.

You don't get many long multi-pitch routes in WA, but this is serious fun and a great day out. It packs a lot of variety into six pitches, and despite some decent runouts it's good holds all the way. Take a friend or two, a full rack of trad gear, and have an adventure. Expect 1.5h walk in, 7/8h climbing, and 1h walk down,

A grand day out. Our first completed, proper multi-pitch route. Serious position, but totally doable and with some genuinely enjoyable pitches. We wanted to get into some long trad routes, and this was the perfect way to get started. It took us 11.5 hours from car to car.

Found this an awful lot harder than the 14 grade would suggest, more like a 17/18. Mainly due to the difficulty in setting protection, much of the climb was run-out to an unsettling degree. White-knuckle trad climbing at its finest. Lots of loose rock, as you'd expect.
Our progress up the face was too slow, so we had to traverse out at the top of pitch two via the Prickle Traverse (this was mercifully a safe and straightforward walk back to the tourist trail). Next time.

Loose, chossy and run out! Cool alpine adventure. Took us 16 hours from car to car. We were both climbing non-stop but we must be slow. The grade 14 is a bit stiff. Some pitches felt more like 16's, especially with a backpack on.
