Kyneton Bridge

Not in the Black Hill reserve but very close by in Kyneton. Before you get out to the granite, grab some lunch and warm up on the bluestone bridge. Drive down to the Campaspe river walk and traverse your way around the river. Don't come in winter which is between March and October.

Southern Pillar

Left of the walking track as you walk to the botanic gardens.

Southern Pillar
River Traverse

Traverse along the wall low over the shallow water. Don't know how hard it is yet. Fall off... you're wet! Not very deep!!

V2 Higher ground

Start on the stone in the water. Finish on the ground next to the river walk sign.

V1 Path traverse low

Climb low to the ground from one arte to the other.

V1 Path traverse high

Start on the ground on the right arete. Go two blocks up and traverse high and left, going up and down as appropriate. Make sure you have a partner moving pads.

High left line.

V2 up 2

High middle line

V2 up 3 arete

Using the right arte. Climb to the top. Pad up!

Northern Side

The short side that goes all the way around the corner.

Northern Side
20 Campaspe Track Traverse

50metre traverse, 2m high. Goes around the corner along the track above the river. Start at the far right where the ivy stops. Finish at the drain way around the corner. Crux is getting around the arete and the feet at the end. Easier in between. Great fun.

V1 Ivy league

Right arete next to the ivy. Topout over the rail. Something nice about it.

V1 Moss League Yucky

Left arete. Mossy climb, Topout over the rail.

V0 slab 1

Left side. Topout.

V0 slab 2

Right side face. Topout.

V0- Pillar of moss

The bulgy face on the pillar. Finish how you like. Must at least match on the top row.

Easy corner where the slab meets the pillar.
