Ascents in Camel Wall

Surprisingly good climbing given the blocky-looking start. The exit left from under the roof is a wonderfully exposed, comitting move for a 5.4 (or 5.4+) climb.

I chose to finish right (apparently harder) to use the anchor's for Reg's route. The step across at the top is a bit tricky.

Not exciting with the exception of the move past the roof. The sudden exposure is fun. Gear is great. Great rap anchors at the opposite end of the belay ledge.

The start is a little tricky traversing under the roof and rounding the Arete. It's possible to place a #5 C4 two thirds the way up.

Went right at the end to use the bolted anchor to rappel.

Noticeably more difficult cutting right to get to the anchors. Tricky move at the roof but the holds are all there.

A fun route with great protection. I veered right to the easier 5.7 variation and ended up clipping the anchors on Reg's sport route.

Got to the crux, failed to pull it several times, escaped right to the good holds on Positron, then back to the route. Not my best climb, and not a good send.

Used the flake from positron, maybe making it easier than rated but still fun. Setting anchors can be tough since there are no good feet.

Cheated using the flake on the right instead of climbing the face.

Bolting is a bit odd with very sparse placement at the bottom and a bolt every few feet higher up. Pretty sustained and fun route!

Didn't top out (1m) from end, fell 2x

Took one fall at the opening crux, then solved it, and got the rest clean. (The crux had really stumped both my climbing mates, was nice to get it much faster.)

Third bolt is the crux. Took us 3-4 tries to get it. Satisfying.

Quality of route was diminished by slippery/tenuous nature of the crux move. Also the mass of spiders at the small roof wasn't great
