Ascents in Laurentides as Tick

4 short pitches, all on bolt anchors. First pitch is very short. Climb on little stair, place nut (around 10 mm) as high as possible, then climb flake without further protection (easier than trying to add another protection). The crux is climbing the big ledge. There is a roof in the way. Protect with 2 tricams, then place right foot on big rock sticking out of the ledge, and use the left arm in opposition and carefully balance onto the ledge. Crawl on knees. Pitch 2: traverse to left, go up and around the void, go back down to a comfortable bolt anchor. Pitch 3: half circle: go diagonally up and left, till the wall, follow the wall to the left and down, then down to next bolted anchor. Pitch 4: dont climb the crack on the wall. Stay at same height and go around the edge of the wall, it is easier than it seems. Then climb up and left to a big Pine. Exit via trail that goes up and right, it goes around the back of Mt King and finishes at Staircase.

Wish there was a lower anchor.

Not a 5.8. The beginning is hard, and it doesn't drop below 5.9 in my view.

Dirty as hell.

Top roped it as it looked dicy for protection.
