TR after dog

led P1 and 3-4. Cruised 6b roof, fingers cut up by spiky limestone and had to rest a couple of times on 6c pitch. A file, and it would be absolutlely fantastic.

TR, very sweet

I didn't like this that much, 3 very reachy bits in between an easy ramp. Made a bit of a cairn to get not he route.

Rather pumpy for such a short route, we were getting midges out and needed to run away.

I like my ankles and my life. Damn midges sent me crazy.

Led the traverse, talk about sucking exposure. All pitches great.

Mad dogs and Australians out in the midday sun, 30 degrees. Thankful for breeze and trees at belays. Mostly short cruxes, fun climb. I thought the offwidth on p2 was harder than the wide hands p3.

A beautiful exercise in balance

The rock a bit mankier on this. Some sharp pockets

First 3 pitches only to see how the cruxes would go ( good). Rain thwarted the whole 21 pitch attempt. We may try again.

Alt pitches, led evens. Cold when the sun left, then hit by hail after getting off ( good timing really).

Just lovely. The boulder start looks tricky to protect, maybe a wire on a stick. When we got there a woman was trying and did it on top rope and was in raptures which was great to see which convinced us to try. Took a couple of goes to sort short person starting beta, then hung on all the way up the crack.

Just pitch 1 via large flake then moving left. A bit confused but I gather there’s a new route to the left

Lovely interesting climb up diagonal before stepping right to thin crack

Crap bolting off ledge. I aided up to clip second bolt to prevent a ground fall essentially. Sharp up top but nice moves

A bit of bolted crack climbing, then a super reachy crux ( or mcdougall to arete).

Pocketssss, just lovely and the new shoes are feeling better

Long move above 4 th bolt. I couldn’t commit without long draw for preclipping. Nice varied climbing. Very technical

Nice powerful start, easier head wall.

I've put the grade up for both these routes by 2, and it's still probably not high enough. Great moves though on a smooth wall with horizontal fissures

Worth the extra effort. Very bouldery.

Led it but had all sorts of trouble clipping bolt and with traverse right move,had to clip old rusty one. Did it on tr and it was still hard.

Led it, feeling quite run out and tricky to find holds, traverses a bit so cleaned it on tr.

A 6 b that actually felt within the grade range.

Interesting sequences on sharpshooter pockets, but not too bad.

Lead it, but crux off large ledge and not game to commit. Less scary on top rope.

Led it and found crux pretty hard. Overhung and traverses, so cleaned it on top rope after dave flashed it. Still tough second go, and grade adjusted.

Hard to be sure what's what with select guide. Top pitch only

I mcdougalled on the lead so can’t claim a flash. Did the direct version after much thinking as it’s all weird lay always. Shame it’s escapable

Alt leads, I did odd. Crux pitch felt pretty easy, mostly a stemming/ jamming problem despite having to rescue draws for some locals who were trying to do kaiokume and got on this by mistake. All pitches had something to recommend them except pitch 1.

Well I top roped through the crux with a high first clip, though took a couple of goes. Feels a bit contrived away from some slightly better holds.

Found this very tricky, and sharp. Not sure about 3 stars!

A little damp, but some good moves, as close as I could get to gladiator today. I refuse to queue
