Ended my trip with this one 😭. But it was one of the best I did here!!

First of the grade! Went down on first go of the day. Was probably over gripping after clearing the top boulder crux, I was giving it my all as I was determined to get to the top this time.

Soaping wet, unfortunately. Otherwise great.

Excellent climbing with cool moves and good holds but found myself too pumped to clip the chains so took the whip and didn’t onsight 🥹

First redpoint attempt and got past the top boulder crux and into the good left hold tufa but fluffed it up by grabbing the draw! Where was my fight??

Had a surprisingly good flash attempt. Fell at the last draw. Amazing pocket climbing. Sustained as there are no knee bars. Might go back for the send.

Such a good climb, falling at the last draw on the onsight for trying to clip it instead of skipping it.

4th session, 4th go overall. First serious attempt I guess that wasn’t an intended beta burn. I gave myself a 70% chance of doing it perfectly today (with no idea how far I would get even doing so) and the conditions were bone-dry. 4 days ago it was absolutely atrocious with the crux feeling near-impossible in the humidity of the approaching storm.

Second 5.13, 7 days after sending Fun de Chichunne. Honestly on the send this did wind up feeling on the soft side with all the kneebars, but still way harder than the other 7c’s I’ve done here and elsewhere in the Balkans.

Bruh that shit was no joke, especially the lower crux. My left arm was totally blasted by the time I clipped anchors. Felt more 12b to me but I did this after redpointing Andromeda which is also heavy on the left arm. Definitely a Tennessee 12a, and maybe the only benchmark one I’ve done here. Full-value even with the polish. Stoked to do this after starting the Berserk manga/anime last week.

Pumpy and polished. Waste of energy, and not a great warmup.

Would be classic if it didn't fight for independence with Elies at the crux. On-sight fight foiled at the crux. Tried to go direct. At the crux, the bolts are one foot left of your left hip, and their is a ticked sidepull jug for the right hand at 2pm. When you grab it, a bolt on Elies is at your right elbow. So it's all a bit compressed at the crux.... Easily second go.

Another great addition. Bouldery start, with a committing deadpoint to a blind sloping dish that luckily had good texture. Then an excellent broccoli slab to a rest below the steep finish. Save some biceps strength for the anchor clip, or better, look for a knee bar.

Good addition. Felt brutally hard on the shared top section where it steepens and the holds are polished. Still hot from the walk up, and immediately covered in a sheen of sweat, it was a slippery flash pumped battle to the chain.

It was a day of trying some of the newly added routes here.

Burly start slab move - yeesh! And it's pretty damn easy to end up on the wrong route up the top. Felt like I climbed a couple before getting on the right one and going to the top.
