Description

This wall looks like some big animal ripped claws down the wall.

Access issues inherited from El Potrero Chico

Most of the climbing here is in a State Park. As of 2023 there is a one-time 250 peso fee to climb for the entire winter climbing season. Please help maintain a clean environment in order to help maintain these privileges. Respect the local land people by packing out what you pack in.

Approach

Keep hiking up the north wall of the canyon from the top of the stairs at "Upper Virgin Wall" past the cave at "The Flamingo Wall".

Ethic inherited from Nuevo León

Please don´t litter, some crags like LaHuasteca are a little runout, but thats how they were set, please avoid adding bolts. Rebolting efforts are much apreciated, just send a heads up to the local climbing comunity for safety reasons.

Grade Route

Same first pitch as "Strokin' the Bishop".

Climb the (shared with next three climbs) easy access pitch, go all the way to the left end of the ramp, then up.

Climb shared easy access pitch (5.8), then on ledge traverse 25ft left before heading up.

After climbing easy access pitch, trend immediately up and left to the first bolt.

Climb easy access pitch (do I sound like I'm repeating myself?), then climb face at right end of ramp. (Scary runout to anchors.)

Few bolts per pitch, home-made funky hangars. R-rated.

1 5.8
2 5.6
3 5.10b
