Ascents in Harold's Wall having Beta

My first not finished climb in NZ Nevertheless I'll be back! ...soon...

Great climb well bolted, fun runouts safe whips, will take a while to get the beta down to climb it fast enough to not get too pumped and flow. highly recommend

What a brilliant route. Weak head game held me back big time.

Fell off the last couple of moves. Had a lot of self doubts about sending this route, somehow felt possible now.

Took a minute but got it done.

Better than Projection believe it or now. First time doing a Rose move outside. Thanks Honnold!

Short and bouldery unlike most other routes here. Make sure you go up directly through the crux to get the full minging experience.

Slopers on schist! Schilopers?!

Easily one of the best routes in Queenstown.

Double toe hooking, flying heel hook, the Rose, knee bars, sustained face climbing, semi-spicy run outs. This route really has it all. Unfortunately some key holds were soaking wet today.

Maybe not, but the face (choss pile) really shouldn't be bolted. It adds a ton of rope damage and ZERO value to the route. Put an anchor at the lip and it's a fantastic climb.

Cleaning was a pain.

Someone teach me how to hand jam.

Easily a three-star route if it weren't for the choss. If it sees a bit of traffic it could become a crag classic.

Every bit as good as projection, only more pumpy.

Finally dry!! One of the best in the area.

Solid Benchmark for the grade. Paper thin crux can be avoided but shouldn't be, because It's a great sequence.

Hard crux, was feeling pretty tired, would like to try again as found up to and after the Crux okay

Thin cruxy sequence. Very happy with beta for this one. Will go back if I get the chance

Tried to climb nu energy but ended up on this - very confusing experience.

Tried this about a year ago and couldn't quite get the crux, the whole climb felt much easier. Could only get one try as had to leave but will definitely try it again next time

Surprisingly good rock.

Decent climb out of a choss pile. Should've flashed it but last foothold broke at the very end.

First two pitches. (17) P1 - 2nd clean, P2 - lead onsite, P3 - gave it a miss hungover with a seized elbow lol.

Steep and pumpy with some heel hooks and cutting loose through the last roof section

The first half to the knee bar rest is awkward and cruxy, second half is sustained and technical! Great route might take a couple more gos to tick

Worked the moves to the top. Need more endurance for send. Really rad climb, super power endurancey

Awesome climb, with a very tricky crux. It was a close one, but I think it suited me well.

Really should have onsighted this one, should have charged on and put the draw and clip in from the next hold (jug rather than a crimp). Broke a foothold. Only "good" as the face is easy and dirty, the boulder however was very good (through the roof).

A few cool moves through the roof otherwise don't bother.

Hung the draws, and then had one burn. Made it to the 5th bolt. If I climb it efficiently it will go fairly easily I suspect.

Hung the draws. Got so close on second attempt - fell on last move before the easy climbing. Third attempt was too faffy. Beta is super refined now though. Surely next session..

Hung the draws. Sent first shot of the day. 7th overall. A great climb.

Very enjoyable after a shocking first attempt, basically wrapping myself in the rope at the second draw.

Hard crux down low. Easier after that. Can do all the moves, will be hard to link.

Went up to suss the third pitch. Didn't end up trying it today.k

First attempt was basically to try and get warm after having a break, 2nd go went well. Definitely lanked one move which I could have climbed nicer. Fun route though
