Bouldery fun. The hardest of the 3 as many of the holds are blind.

The climbs might be easy and short, but we had fun. Thanks to the route equipper.

Found the move off belay at start the hardest en route ( short arms). Second pitch just lovely. Led P2 and 3…..

Saw the anchors on way down and did a quick TR lap. Would feel stout placing gear, quite bouldery.

Some nice moves once in the stemming groove. The 9 th or 10th bolt’s nut was quite loose. I finger tightened it, worth bringing a spanner

Interesting enough, found it as tough as the other two, though may have been just reacquainting myself with the Pipes dolerite

Intricate crux at about third height for me that was quite enjoyable. A bit stop/ start from half height

Not too bad for a late addition, though top a bit contrived and friable

Original ascent solo, rpt today

Original ascent was solo, weirdly coming up as red point. Rpt today

Tricky start keeping left of arete. Stupid finish.

It’s a squeeze but didn’t feel too contrived

Surprised to see a standard solo for many years now with bolts

I have this ticked as a solo, but I think that was Plum Duff. This is almost a retrobolt of Pimple and of similar difficulty

Another questionable route

Seriously, I walked down this with no hands and the dog ran up it. Needs to disappear.

Probably done off the top ropes a bit, it was fairly clean.

The one I hadn’t done. Finished up Karinya by mistake. Found going direct at 3rd bolt quite tough for grade

Crap rock, only good move is the starting mantle ( if you don’t chimney)

Trade winds will become a trade route I suspect

More nice slabbing

A bit like the ironstone bits of BBB but a lot shorter

Setting up a Tr for the grandkids. Followed by sprints around the pump track which was far more exhausting

I didn’t think it was hard except the reachy bit straight off the ledge if you can’t reach the top of the flake. Both halves have nice moves. A bit too much mizzle coming in to do more today, but nice spot .

Rock quality rather blah ( even the good bit) . Quite pumpy

I think Dave did variant on P2 left of the actual line at grade 16/17, it was cobwebbed and no chalk, but quite good.

Nice start and crux. Convenient anchors. Not sure the physio would approve, but she did say I could climb easy stuff…

Lovely rock architecture, wasn’t really looking for pro but it appeared spaced.

Pretty good varied climb but slippery in spots. Didn’t want to risk falling and reinjuring my back

Personal top rope grade 19, probably feels worse on lead. We did the start but finished through roof to right

Felt sketchy in the spooge

Harder for me due to large hand size than DC. Spent the mid section with a hand in a cam hook configuration. The chimney felt like a relief!

The pitch only. The hype is worth it, what a great crack. Nice size for girl hands, varied throughout, it just keeps going. Only downer was the increasing weight of the mega rack Dave used. Seems like it had been done yesterday, so maybe was cleaner than normal. Shame the top pitch isn’t clean, it actually looks like it would be good climbing. Comments from yesterdays ascent made me laugh. That may have been me before I learnt to hand jam…

Very dirty, and horrible start. If you are short just step on partners knee….

A plus for bolt camouflage but minus a couple of stars for contrivance and bolt placement.
