Ascents in Geyikbayırı as Red point or First free ascent

Honestly good top section. Very modern bouldering. Techy Heels, toe hooks, and snatchy moves to the end, a breath of comp style fresh air. Am a fan.

pretty soft when you know the crux holds. but hard to onsight. climbable in the rain

2nd Go

harder than most technical 7a's routes I've tried in Geyik. pity to slip 5cm from the saving jug. Highly recommended. Nice bolting

2nd Go

Boom. dispite a bit of rain, 8 attempts total. Super happy since the last one took 17. Fixed line footage is way better than ground up footage. Movement is phenomenonal, 10m board problem into a V5 boulder with a drop knee that feels deeper than the conversation you had when you OD'd on shrooms at the festival you barely remember. Took a victory whip... Was half a meter off the ledge. Felt sketch, might deck my belayer later. See how he likes being dropped. Walked out with the tick and both my ankles so happy days.

Pity! Missed the onsight one move away from the finish jug. Got too pumped placing the second to last QD. nice moves though

2nd Go

None of this righthand soft 7b shit. The line is tufas... climb the tufas. I get routes are path of least resistance. But if that's the case then down grade it to 7a. I'd understand the easy tick if the line was amazing, but this doesn't deserve more than 1star. Over hyped. Feature is gorgeous climbing is adequate.

Best route of the trip along with Saxafon. Jug fest on the roof bit with a really cool heel move. Big reach to grab the hold to leave the roof, got me loads of figuring for a beta that worked for a 5f 3 guy, went on the 2nd go

it went on the 2nd go, after putting the draws in in the 1st. Too soft for 7a+, probably plain 7a, very nice route though. Some powerful moves after the mid anchor. Went to the top rightwards after the rest.

Got it on my 2nd go, linking the 3 pitches together. The 6b+ is not easy and takes a bit from your arms. Had a proper battle with the pump coming out of the tufa! Very cool.

techy vertical route with mostly good holds and rests almost after each move. Sharp. Loose bolts with strange placements. #$%^& only tears for me. Fell one move away from the finish jug. Would've made it with a quickdraw on. With this endurance, I should ditch ropes and buy a crashpad.

Bad bolts

I think this is very fun for a 5a, could possibly be a higher grade but there's only one slightly hard section. The rock is beautiful and the view is fantastic. Very nice for a low grade.
