Was really close to onsighting on my first go, then climbed slider got way too pumped on that to have any hopes of sending squeeler after, next time!

Adds alot of value to the Achillies crux. Got the beta dialed, will be back for this one!

This thing is very cool. Such good sequences in the first half. And gets you pumped for Achilles crux!! Much fun.

Was feeling very gassed, but found it super hard to find the holds and read the moves. would be keen to give it another crack.

Fun little climb! Bit of a stretch to the 3rd bolt adds a little spice.

Very fun climb, the traverses are great. Engaging enough to be interesting but nothing too hard to worry about. It's mostly a sport climb with occasional gear on p1-p2. A single rack is more than enough, or even just a set of nuts and a few small cams up to #2 would do.

Climb was great. Long walk out.

Just as fun as I remember. Definitely has more sting than the 17s to the left.

Optional dyno through crux feels easy for tall boys and is fun!

Pitch notes I think useful; Pitch 2 has one grade 10 move off the anchor, the rest is sub grade 3. Routefind accordingly. Pitches 7 and 8 are quite short and really only consist of one or two moves at the grade. Best climbing in pitch 1, 3-6

Only first 3 pitches to access belly of the beast. Some super sick climbing, wow this route was actually elite. pitch 2 & 3 were mega, linked them up using half ropes for a 50m burner!

Back for the FA 2 years later! Some really nice moves in parts, stemming, 3d climbing, crack, sick! Knock a couple microwaves off during our time up there. Thankfully no one was around. Love jumping into the unknown with a good mate for some proper adventure! Stoked to get this done!

A two year mission since the first burn up Carbo chimney, an epic conclusion.

Originally pushed up the first pitch above spooky ledge to discover ancient rap gear, retreated. Returned today to push up through the choss since the climbers car park was closed. Decent protection in back of the chimney but loose rocks galore.

An epic ground up mission , great way to link carbo chimney into the third pitch of overexposed .

Dylan may hype up the fourth pitch alternate variant left pitch , but he didn’t have to lead it .
