First time climbing in a year but this still seems burly for V3

I really enjoyed the start. The top out scared me a bit. Slopers! was almost there..

Got spanked off my lead attempts..working progress.

Super sorry I couldn't tick this one off. Found it hard to keep my feet solid across the traverse. Unreal link up..next time.

Fell off from top slab on onsight attempt...wang. What a sting in the buttocks.

Wooo!! What a ride!! Too pumped & way too pissy. Discovered importance of vertical hold on final attempt. Next time..

Dogged my way up before getting stuck at the last bolt.

What an awesome climb! Got stuck at the final bolt again but reached a new high point before getting pumped and peeling off. Amazing features and an incredible location.

A very cool feature. The rail was a bit technical and took me a while to work out. The slab was hard! I couldn't manage it and bailed before it got ugly(er). A great route to come back for

Killer sit start.

I gave up quickly

Best to rap in. 40m+. Set your rope line up with the Tree at the edge right of the crack and that will drop you in on the start. start close to waves was too slippery and wet so we bailed out looked like a great line will be back some day!

Got halfway up this on lead before deciding I wasn't enjoy it. Maybe another day

Too much water on the initial holds. Next time...

0ne and a half pitches. Rain imminent, but more my tummy troubles led to retreat.

Looked inviting and had a go on lead but got to the blank bridging section at the top with nothing for the hands, feet or gear and lowered off

Crack in chimney was seeping after rain so downclimbed

A 3 hour session working this unclimbed project (with permission) to see if I could put it together. Eventually sorted the powerful, compression-orientated sloper middle-crux, but couldn't work out the main crux at the top turning the final rooflet. I might be able to do it with more time, but not today. Great, aesthetically pleasing rock and moves for the first half. Tricky thin traverse and committing moves through the bulge to the rooflet, then nails above on deteriorating rock.

Had a few shots trying to work how to get to the 2nd bolt. Found this extremely hard for the grade, I believe you need to be tall for this one.

COULD be a classic (for the top crack in particular) but ruined on the direct start by retarded bolting. I fell on Onsight at the end of the crux, moving to gain the 3rd bolt. Stopped scarcely 1m from the ground. To fall at the clipping hold or while clipping will put you on the ground. The best way to climb this is the way it was originally done: climb the main crack on the left, traverse in past the last bolt to gain the finger crack and then froth over its awesomeness to the anchors (at gr21)

Ingvar warned me that this was ALMOST 8a grade, yet he still managed to talk me into giving it a go. Hmmm... gr29 arete climbing is involved, technical and tenuous even getting off the ground. Climbed to the end of the crux (with 1 million falls and rests) then bailed from the (slightly) easier upper section to give my skin and poor belayer a rest. Put together most of the moves bar one that I cant quite do, but I'm not fit enough to link. Perfect rock, hypertechnical, core-sapping arete moves.

I guess it could be possible...

Just on dusk, friction was great and gave it a quick burn and almost got it and got really pchyced. 4-5 try's as the light died but no sendage

Best attempt so far, used different right hand which gave me another few cm's ape and can just hit the lip

Damn knee-bars! Skip made it look easy but by 7th attempt I was done...

Try to do in two pitches. Second the first pitch with a bit of dyno. Led the next up the third bolt and couldn't do the move!

Took 30min to do a move from the third bolt to the fourth. and then bail.

Got shut down at the third bolt, I had no idea what to do ...
