Tricky start to runout technical slab. Needs a good brushing

Did the existing route, then extended it to the top, ground up on sight. I'm not exactly impartial, but I think this is an excellent route, with great belay ledges, gear when you need it, and a classy final pitch that ends right next to the tourist track.

Remembering the beta

Last few moves are a real problem

Done in two parts, couldn't put them together today

Clean to break. Couple of falls getting to the last rest. Getting a feel for the last hard moves

More small improvements. Finally touched the second last hold after several falls and rests

Excellent conditions. Best effort yet. The final moves still need some work, but the rest of it is feeling very achievable

One move in the middle I don't know how to do. The rest is ok

You really wouldn't want to fall on the top half

I would like more pads before committing to the high step off the crimps

Rubbish session

Fell off the start a few times, but also made some good links, and did a couple of moves on the upper section for the first time. Decent progress

Maybe 0.5% better than last time

Bottom section is basically settled now. Still playing with the beta for the top section, but it now feels possible at least. Much better than the last session

Very little progress today, if any

Putting together the first half, scoping out the top half. The final moves are going to be tough

Could not figure out the slab.

Lots of lichen and a few loose blocks. Gear is ok. A nice enough route, and probably there are other good lines here, but the approach is horrendous and I'm never coming back

Easier if you're taller, and if you just watched someone else do it

Finally found it. A bit intimidating at the start, but solid enough. Didn't break any holds. Enjoyable adventure climbing

Onsight attempt. Went into the cave, so gave up the style points, then fell off the finishing jug. Nice climbing, well bolted, pretty pumpy, made hard work of cleaning it.

I guess I'm not as good anymore as I was 8 years ago

I'm just not going to hand jam when laybacking, compression, face climbing or any other thing is an option

Really nice boulder. Big moves on good holds. I'm not quite ready to try the move out of the break to the top without a spot though

Quite insecure, but it is very protectable

Actually felt reasonably solid once I'd refined the beta

Need more pads to make a proper attempt at this
