Ascensiones en Afrika Wand

Super schön, aber schon eine 7. Vielleicht aber auch meinem Fitnesslevel an dem Tag geschuldet.

Ich bin nicht zur ersten Exe gekommen. Der erste Haken ist sehr hoch und wir hatten nicht mehr so viel Zeit bis Einbruch der Dunkelheit. Nochmal anschauen!

Letzte Tour des Tages und nicht so fit. Daher habe ich den Boulder unten nicht probiert. Oben im Riss ist die Tour ganz nett und oben über dem Riss richtig schön

Very nice route, but the crux which starts from the ground and goes up to the second bolt, is not so well protected since the bolts are far to the left of the route. Climbed it with the second bolt pre-clipped. Nice but reachy moves in the boulder, the remaining route is easier but still very good on perfect rock.

Nach einmal auschecken gezogen. In der Verschneidung dumm angestellt. Oben simpel.

Repeat as a warmup what's still a surprise if it's working out;) the very best in its grade here:) always getting harder the higher you get with so many option to do the crux basically!

Finally convinced myself to give this toprope (3rd bolt preclipped) crompression boulder a try and as always turns out to be way better than it looks! 2 sessions but I actually had a 5 sec hang at the crux move to the crimp from the 2nd try on... the direct version is still waiting:)

Quick morning sesh with snowfall and minus degrees... what do you want more;)! First time we actually stopped down there after walking up to the cliff about a hundred times... battle against numb fingers, so I can't really remember what I was holding there;)

What a 'QL' basically natural 25 moves resistence gem! Totally enjoyed the process of trying hard close to my limit even though it turned into a mindgame during the 3rd session as I knew it's my last chance for quite a while with perfect conditions and being well rested! Nervous first go but the flowy 2nd try let me clip the chains of one of my hardest & favourite in Kochel so far! Muchas gracias to Isi for all the belays and the perfect support:) 9tries at all, more crispy fall days please!

It's all about finding those little game-changing details to stick this one hard fingery move! Was soo surprised to have stuck it in my 2nd sesh (7th try) that I almost forgot my beta while skipping 2 draws;) memorable Afrika vibes with Malik, Clément, Isi and Enrico:) psyched for the one to the left now!

#2go Nice short boulder starting from the ledge above 'Transilvania'; thx Isi for clipping in the first draw while coming from above as I simply couldn't reach it...

The extension of "Wwg" by finishing with the crux of "Crazy End"; once I've managed to repeat the big undercling move with soaked holds today, I luckily battled myself to the top directly:) fun day again with Malik who also send the lower one, Isi and Enrico!

#2go Surprised myself with such a quick ascent of this beautiful overhanging edge! Always avoided to try this shorty as the undercling move looked so far and unconfortable if you're small... one of the only dry routes today and after bouldering up once I really asked myself why I haven't tried this resistence gem earlier;) my 50th 'glatter zehner'

#2go The name says it all... which may happed earlier than you can bunch up;) super technical and hard slab but once you've got a beta it climbs pretty good but still shaky;)

#FA I've been "Voi miad" after clipping the chains of this old forgotten project/combi (from Markus Meier; thx Toni L. for motivating me to give it a try) at Afrikawand within 4 tries but with knowing some sections pretty well already, which makes the grading even harder;) no possibilities to rest during this 38 moves resistence beast! The direct and more logical version of "Ratzfatz..." Biggest thanks Isi for all the belays including the sending one. More infos on Insta:)

Super scary crux with non existing slopy crimps and a high risk a grounder around the 3rd bolt... beautiful dihedral afterwards with a final slab to the top where the rain gave me a freezing shower (10 degrees hat day) the following days I had to deal with a cold! Maybe the only repeat for years and I can understand why now as I enjoyed other climbs much more for sure;)

#FA #2go Mentioned in the topo as the last remaining project in this part of the wall! Starting in "Bierkistenklettern" till directly below the roof where you've a super high heelhook crossing into a bad pinch; afterwards you continue with "Conani" in the opposite direction and finishing with the whole crux of "Conan"; not the most logical line but for sure the most resitance one here; next goal is doing the whole thing more direct without the nohand in the middle:) I'm super bad in grading routes btw;)

#2go The Céüse-crew is back together here in Kochel:) plan B destination after Tirol is a risk area now... super pumpy and tricky combi which really brought me out of my confortzone by a massive battle up the final edge! 2nd go after sending the others this early summer

"Knallharte Kombi" laut Toni! Perfekter flow, überhaupt nix mehr erwartet am Ende des zwoatn Tages und a verflixt guade Beta gfundn:) im schlüsselzug a halbe minute am griff ghängt bis ihn gscheid ghabg hab... 6th go

So in love with the lower part of 'Conan' and right before the crux, you're going to the left up this overhanging tricky edge! A few stupid goes with the wrong foothold but with a higher one, it went down pretty smoothly in my 4th try in the end:)

1st go; great varied climb which combines the best parts of these two! Finally some wind came up:)

By far my hardest onsight in Kochel! Not the best idea to climb this well structured and sharp slab in the hot afternoon sun but I simply wanted to do this one for soo long now;)

3rd go after 'Wichtjahr' which felt pretty relaxed this time but then you still have to add about 10 powerful moves without any rest; the most unsolid ascent since a long time 'cause I got soo damn pumped! Really loved these crossover moves with high footholds:)

Letztes jahr 2x im halb nassn probiert; heid no 4 versuche braucht bis alle körperpositionen und trittabfolgn gstimmt ham;) pressig technische verschneidung mit geilen blindn dynamo am de ecke am schluss! Prime condis:)
