Park hours are 7 a.m. until dark, every day. The three falls overlooks are located within a five to ten minute walk from the visitor center and parking lots. Trail maps are available at the visitor center and entrance station..
Park Fees
$3.00 Individual Pass. Good for three consecutive days for individuals coming into the park on foot, horseback, or bicycle. $5.00 Vehicle Pass. Good for three consecutive days for one vehicle, including motorcycles, in Great Falls Park and C&O Canal National Historical Park in Maryland. $20.00 Annual Pass. Good for one year from the date of purchase in Great Falls Park and C&O Canal National Historical Park in Maryland. Tour buses: contact the park at 703-285-2965 for fee information. Please be aware that on weekends during the spring, summer, and fall months, the park may not have parking available for buses.
Park contains a lot of poison ivy. Go prepared to spot it before making your way off of the pass and to the anchor areas and crags.
Absolutely no bolting. Please use white, grey or brown chalk.
