3rd go

Thought I would try the Boulder problem start, ground to the 4th bolt. Not strong enough yet unfortunately!

Almost classic. No hard moves just resistance pumping all the way. Just the one go.

Third go. Unpleasant crux surrounded by good climbing, would be a classic 24. The crux crimps were damp and sandy so it took me a little while to figure out some alternate beta. Seems like it might be harder if you are short.

Hardest 23 I’ve ever attempted, the process was fun in some scary, twisted way and almost hitting the tree from the anchors will keep this weird one in my memory.

Reminds me of a slightly beefed up version of Master Plan at Mt York. [2]

Gearing up

Fell on traverse, v silly.

Fell on the end of the traverse, tired.

Off the low crux on the OS.

By this stage it was too hot and I couldn't pull on the crucial crimps. The rest was fine though so will go with friction.

Yeah, conditions got worse as the day progressed, may have got sumburnt (10° day). Bailed off this.

Had the crucial beta from Lloyd for the crux and the top. Barely stuck the hold after bashing my elbow on the way through the crux move Great fun!

A bit of a taster, good moves with a long crimpy crux sequence.

A bit of a sugarbag but crimpy fun. Second shot.

Wow this felt like a bit a a test piece at 23. Solid but a good fun climb.

A nice warm up with only 2 hard moves and plenty good jugs. Longest route on this short wall.

2nd shot. crimpy and sort of fun but not great

lucky 2nd shot. Fun but nowhere near as good as the 27's on the main wall. fell my way up it.

Pretty nice climbing.

Call the Chopper to get me out of here.
