one pitch, much tech

pretty incredible and not as hard as they say

Top solo, two laps. Incredibly sustained and technical at the grade, but killer moves for almost the whole way (ignore the crap at the bottom). Two drops on the top solo, so I'll be back to clean it up

Put the draws on on rap, didn't take any notice of the moves, felt onsigtey but I did grab the odd hold to equip it. Wouldn't have bothered to do so if I had known it had been retrobolted with nice new rings.

Climbed in 1 pitch with 1200 slings before the cave after the cave and at the ledge And a 600 sling on all but a few of the bolts

Nice techy climbing with plenty of rests

Backlogging (lost ticks on TheCrag... again). Clean repeat. Seconding Matt on both pitches. Amazing climbing, but bloody hard at the grade!

Carrots at start of p1 weren't very inspiring to whipp on, one was a bit hard to clip. After that crux felt technical on the arete and just peeled off. It comes together real nice when u figured it out. Need more arete training. P2 was just awesome enjoyable climbing.

TRS x 3. Short, but quite intense. Felt desperate in today's heat/humidity. Lots of very thin moves with surprising variety, and an interesting gristone finale.

The bolts are indeed glued-in thread with hangers and nuts. But this is a BYO spanner route, as the nuts undo themselves if a stiff breeze hits them. An absolutely bizarre effort of bolting.

TRS warmup. Disgusting conditions, but still a great climb. Seemed harder than I remember, though that might just be the spooge-factor.

Quite an adventure. Abseiled in at 7:30pm. Climbed it in the dark. It started raining as Grech was topping out. Difficult arete but an awesome challenge. The last few moves are soooo crimpy! Grech climbed those wet credit cards like a boss

Mega classic. Louis has given a solid write up below for this climb. Wish I had held it together to onsight the second pitch but still enjoyed the climbing so so much!

P1 Missed a hold on the onsight plus had some epic pump from the placing the tricky carrot plates and draws. Pity about the lower choss. Clean on 2nd. P2 Onsight - The arete felt very straight forward but the slightly damp headwall was a pumper.

should have left it for another day, humid and tired from carrying sandstone blocks whole Sat despite this I don't regret jumping on it. Very keen to try again soon that aret is superb

Awesome arete! Tricky and a couple of hard sequences, but there's always something and you get good rests in between. We went bush-bashing from the Fashion Wall instead of rapping in. The latter would have been easier though!

2 Looooong laps investigating this route. I've been curious about it since I climbed Teenager for the CIA. 2nd lap was done with 5 falls across the whole 50m length. Sections of good, technical, thin and complex climbing, and super-duper-sustained (though with 3 pronounced "harder" sequences) with no "good" holds for the first 2/3rds... But the rock is quite friable (lots of fractured micro-flakes make up the crucial holds), the bolts on the bottom half are abysmal, and the lower section is utterly hideous megachoss - it might be better to start up I was a Teenage Werewolf instead? I can do this route, and I might come back to it when my skin is tougher (after almost 1 year away from the Blueys, I really can't endure these sharp microcrimps).

Big epic arête. Glad it wasn't any harder, sheesh! Led p1, second p2.

Amazing climbing. Definitely type 2 fun, especially the scary traverse and crimpy finish when I was pumped out of my mind from following Pitch 1 and leading Pitch 2 immediately after. So good!!

What an ass whooping. Superb climbing after the beginning cross pile. Some amazing arette climbing on pitch 2. But may have bit off more than I can chew after such a hiatus. Thanks for leading the second pitch Ro-boat. Type 2 fun, and now all I can think about is trying it again.

Probably one of the finest pieces of rock I've attempted. Such an awesome line, continuous engaging climbing and rather consumer friendly. Just much harder than I anticipated! Lead both pitches, but freed neither. Next time I will bring water and not attempt it in 30+degC. But next time!

With Gene. A true chalkless onsight. P1 - 2nd clean; P2 - Onsight. Both pitches are stunningly beautiful. After the mank start, and a few steep moves, its all on when you reach the arete. The top half of P1 is intensely strenuous and desparately thin. P2 is far more technical, but more stance-friendly and pure-arete climbing. Its not over till you top out, though, thats for sure.

Pitch 2 only as a warm up. With Gene. Might be 22 if clean, but it was dirty enough that it felt rather challenging despite being low angle. Great balancy moves up exposed blankness. I used a #2 in the belay and #3, 0.75 and #1 on the climb.

one of the most stunning lines in the mountains. airy balancy arete climbing. seconded first pitch and onsighted second pitch.

Top pitch only. Really dirty but gripping stella fun.

Radical. Totem pole training. So funky and commanding. 100% commited to the moves. I onsited the first pitch, second clean.

Super awesome fun time. 50m pitch of great. Love being on the wall and climbing this long
