Mixed climbing in a short route

Finally came back to properly lead this one

Slightly mossy slab with sharp crimps. Meh!

Made it to 3rd bolt but didn't quite make it to crack

Top roped the first two bolts, rested and lead the rest of the climb up through the squeeze.

In approach shoes with a rope slung

Really fun climb

Cool climbing - the crimp move at the third bolt is solid for the grade!

Excellent arete! Would have been bold with the original bolting.

After a few downclimbs at the start with hip cramps!

Fantastic little adventure, which gets you to the true summit! What a view from the top! Probably my favorite of the day. Felt pretty sandbagged at 12, but heaps of fun.

Felt stopped trying to go past the first bolt and so grabbed the draw...then couldn't even do 'the' move in the new shoes, and so it was down to the ground. TracyB cranked 'the' move first go which gave me hope. On with the old boots...and that made the difference! Bloody hard fight after that though, and 'the' move became one of many hard 'moves'. Dug deep, and despite feeling like I'd be off several times, I eventually got through.

What a great route..really enjoyable and varied climbing through an unusual situation!

Good stuff. The hole at the top looks thrutchy from below but isn't.

Good fun. The bit after the hole is dead easy, but you may still want some cams.

Classic novelty climbing.
